摘要： Method and system for processing a request associated with a user from a requesting node to an answering node in a telecommunications network. A repository is associated with the answering node, the repository including a data structure including a plurality of user profiles associated with a plurality of users. In the answering node a user profile of the plurality of user profiles is associated with the user. The method comprising the steps of, assigning a unique user index to each user profile in the data structure, wherein the user index is representative of the location of the user profile within the data structure, communicating at least one user index to the requesting node, incorporating the user index in the request by the requesting node, transmitting the request from the requesting node to the answering node, and retrieving the user profile associated with the user associated with the request by the answering node on the basis of the user index.

摘要： The present invention concern methods and apparatuses for handling public identities in an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network. According to a method an HSS receives a request message from an S-CSCF. The request message includes a public identity. The HSS sends a response message including the registered wildcarded public identity to the S-CSCF if the request message includes an indication that the public identity is unregistered, the request message does not include a wildcarded public identity indication, and the public identity, included in the request message, matches with a wildcarded public identity, registered in the HSS. The S-CSCF is thus enabled to fetch a user profile using the wildcarded public identity.

The method comprises, at an application server of the third-party service provider, receiving a service request message from the subscriber, the service request message requesting access to the service, obtaining a source IP address and source port number from the service request message, generating an identity request message including the source IP address and source port number, the identity request message requesting a subscriber identifier associated with the source IP address and source port number, sending the identity request message to a node of the IP-CAN, and receiving an identity response message from the node of the IP-CAN, the response including a subscriber identifier that the IP-CAN associates with the subscriber.

For example, the method receives a session request by a Serving-Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF), wherein a route header for the session request comprises an aggregate endpoint identifier, and interacts with an application server to receive a Public User Identity (PUID) of the aggregate endpoint device in accordance with the aggregate endpoint identifier. The method performs a termination processing for the session request using the PUID of the aggregate endpoint device, and forwards the session request towards the aggregate endpoint device.

摘要： There are provided a method and apparatus for performing a login by a Mobile Station (MS) in a wireless communication system. In an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network in a wireless communication system, an MS transmits a temporary login request to an IMS server by using a subscriber identity (ID) as a virtual Private Identity (PRID) and receives information about registered PRIDs that are associated with the subscriber ID. The MS determines whether at least one of PRIDs managed by the MS is unregistered in the IMS server. If at least one of the managed PRIDs is unregistered in the IMS server, the MS performs login to the IMS server using one of the managed PRIDs that is unregistered in the IMS server. If none of the managed PRIDs are unregistered in the IMS server, the MS performs login to the IMS server using one of the managed PRIDs that is registered.

In particular, the invention provides for a method including the steps of configuring subscriber data for the subscriber at the HSS with at least one implicit registration set selected from: a set of IMPI's associated with a given IMPI or with a given IMPU, and a set of contact addresses per IMPI basis; downloading from the HSS towards the S-CSCF the implicit registration set; and building up a corresponding data model therein.
