摘要： Introduced here is a modular electronic device case with accessories. The modular electronic device case contains at least two parts: a member surrounding four narrow sides of the electronic device, and a detachable member which can attach and detach from the member and/or the electronic device. The detachable member covers a fifth side of the electronic device, such as the backside of the electronic device. The detachable member can include a mechanical or an electronic accessory, such as a pocket, a surface attachment mechanism such as a suction cup, a camera, a battery, an audio port, etc. The accessories can communicate with the electronic device through wireless, or wired means.

摘要： An apparatus used with an electronic device consists of an electronic device housing and a camera. The camera is removably attached to the electronic device housing via an attachment mechanism. The camera is used to gather visual data for a photograph or a video. The camera is controlled wirelessly through an electronic device mounted onto the electronic device housing. The visual data is wirelessly transferred from the camera to the electronic device housing and eventually to the electronic device. The photograph or video is developed through the electronic device. A wireless transceiver of the camera and a wireless communication module of the electronic device housing is used for wireless interactions.

More particularly, a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device can be determined. More particularly, a presentation of a user interface for an in-process call of a phone application can be retained after receiving a flick in an off-screen gesture area of the device. However, the user interface moves from a first screen to a second screen (or vice versa) in response to receiving the flick. The user interface provides detail information about a phone call that is currently in-process.

The system includes a first device and a second device, the devices being attachable via a plurality of magnetic attachment points (magnets or magnetically responsive attachment points) on each. In a first configuration, the devices are held together by all of the magnetic attachment points, and in this configuration an extended user input facility on the second device is not user-accessible. In a second configuration, the devices are connected by only a subset of the magnetic attachment points, and in this second configuration the extended user input facility is user-accessible. A Hall Effect sensor on the first device and sensor magnet on the second device are positioned to overlap when the devices are connected in the second configuration in order to alert the first device that the second device has been attached in the extended input mode.

摘要： A wireless microphone and wireless earpiece each may exchange radio frequency (RF) signals with a base unit and render content contained within the exchanged RF signals to a user. This wireless earpiece further includes a wireless interface, a processor, a speaker, a user interface, and an authentication module. The wireless interface allows the earpiece to wirelessly communicate with the base unit. The processor recovers communications exchanged with the base unit that the speaker then renders audible. A user interface coupled to the processor may alert the user to any additional incoming audio communications. Having received the alert, the user may select between the communications. The authentication module allows the wireless earpiece and microphone to pair and register with the base unit.
