摘要： A computer device may include a processor configured to execute instructions, stored in a memory, to receive a request to add a second mobile telephone number (MTN) line to a user equipment (UE) device associated with a first MTN line, generate a graft instruction to graft the second MTN line to the first MTN line, and send the generated graft instruction to a provisioning system configured to provision services for the UE device. The processor may be further configured to designate the second MTN line as having a grafted status with respect to the first MTN line, the grafted status indicating that the second MTN line has been added to a subscriber profile of the first MTN line, and that the UE device is configured to send and receive communications using the first MTN line and/or the second MTN line.

摘要： The present invention discloses methods and systems for sharing data usage by a plurality of SIM cards at a plurality of network devices. Each of the plurality of network devices is capable of housing at least one SIM card from the plurality of SIM cards. The method comprises the steps of determining the total data usage allowance. A remaining total data usage allowance is determined by either retrieving it from a carrier server or by subtracting aggregated data usage information from the total data usage allowance. The method further comprises restricting use of one or more of the plurality of SIM cards when the remaining total data usage allowance is below a first threshold until the remaining total data usage allowance is above the first threshold. The total data usage allowance is changed to a first value periodically or according to an administrator's instruction.

An authenticated identity for a callee answering a call placed to a destination device is received at an intermediary device. The intermediary device then accesses a billing plan for the authenticated identity of the callee and loads the billing plan for specifying charges for the call, such that telephone service billed to the callee is accessible at multiple destination devices.

In use, a first usage quota reservation out of a shared quota is allocated to at least one first subscriber among a plurality of network subscribers. Further, it is determined that at least a portion of the shared quota is available. Additionally, a progressively smaller at least one second usage quota reservation out of the at least a portion of the shared quota is recursively allocated to the at least one first subscriber among the plurality of network subscribers, the smaller at least one second usage quota reservation being smaller than the first usage quota reservation out of the shared quota.

摘要： A policy and charging control method enables a privileged user of a multiple-user subscription of a telecommunication network to cause a change to a policy or charging applicable to a non-privileged user of the subscription. The method comprises: (i) accessing (s10), by a communication terminal of the non-privileged user, an authorization control manager (ACM) function, to request a change of policy or charging applicable to the non-privileged user; (ii) transmitting (s20), by the ACM function to a PCRF, the requested change; (iii) notifying (s30) a communication terminal of the privileged user, by the PCRF, of the requested change; and (iv) indicating (s40), by the communication terminal of the privileged user, to the ACM function, at least one of: (a) whether the requested change is approved, and (b) to which extent the requested change is approved. 摘要： A communication device and system are disclosed for providing communication and data services to residents of a controlled facility. The device can be restricted to communicating only using an interact protocol so as to restrict the device communication to an internal intranet. Wireless access points may be disposed throughout the environment to route calls and data between the device and a central processing center. By converting a protocol of the communications received from the device to a protocol used by the central processing center, minimal modifications to the central processing center are needed to support a wireless communication infrastructure. Many restrictions and safeguards may be implemented within the phone and system in order to prevent improper use.

摘要： Centralized charging systems and methods are disclosed for providing offline charging and online charging for a plurality of network elements. The centralized charging system is implemented in a communication network between the network elements and offline/online charging systems. A network element interface of the centralized charging system receives charging request messages from CTFs in the network elements. An accounting data forwarding function processes charging data in the charging request messages to determine if offline or online charging is invoked for the services. For offline charging, the accounting data forwarding function generates offline accounting request messages that include the charging data. For online charging, the accounting data forwarding function generates online accounting request messages that include the charging data. The charging system interface then transmits the offline accounting request messages to the offline charging system, and transmits the online accounting request messages to the online charging system.

The antenna is configured to communicate wirelessly transactions with transaction terminals. The housing enclosing at least a portion of the antenna and at least a portion of the connector and including one or more elements that form an opening for receiving the transaction card. In addition, the housing is substantially rectangular and includes a first portion with a first thickness and a second portion with a second thickness different from the first thickness and at least the thickness of the transaction card.
