摘要： Systems and methods are provided for processing messages in an Offline Charging System (OFCS) of a communications services provider. A front-end distributor unit receives Diameter messages from a Charging Trigger Function (CTF) and distributes the Diameter messages to Charging Data Function (CDF) units of the OFCS. The distributor unit receives Diameter response messages from CDFs and calculates performance metrics based on the distributed messages and their responses. The distributor unit computes revised distribution weights used for distributing new Diameter messages for new Diameter sessions to the CDF units based on the measured metrics, thus adjusting the distribution pattern of the Diameter messages based on estimated workload conditions at the CDFs.

摘要： A network information extracting system and method thereof are disclosed. A network message packet transmitted from a communications server is received by a router. The router includes a processor, a memory and a comparator. The processor disassembles the network message packet and extracts company information and a first message. The comparator compares the company information and a company list stored in the storage module. When the company information matches to one of the company lists, the first message is transmitted to a handheld device; when the company information does not match the list, a second message is added to the first message and transmitted to the handheld device.

The system includes a protocol gateway for converting messages from a simple object access protocol (SOAP) to a short message peer-to-peer (SMPP) protocol. By using a SOAP protocol for a portion of communications between the SMS application and the wireless communication device, the system provides communications path in which SMS application is not required to maintain knowledge of the complex SMPP protocol. The system may also include a billing mechanism for charging subscribers for content received by the wireless communication device.

The mobile phone messaging standard may be, for example, the Short Message Service standard or the Multimedia Messaging Service standard. The routing system receives a message from a mobile device or from an application server. The routing system screens the message to determine whether the message should be delivered to a recipient. If the message passes the screening check, the routing system routes the message for delivery to a recipient mobile device or application server. The system may receive and route the message over any type of network, whether wired or wireless. In accordance with configurable business rules, the routing system generates a charging data record associated with the message to allow the message sender and/or message recipient to be billed for the message.
