摘要： A call center answers calls from callers reporting incidents and dispatch responders in response thereto. A computing system at the call center receives a particular call from a caller regarding a particular incident, and determines whether the particular call is an original call that is reporting the particular incident for a first time to the call center, or is a repetitive call that is reporting the particular incident after the original call for the particular incident has already been received by the call center. If an original call, the computing system forwards the particular call to an agent at the call center for further attention. However, if a repetitive call, the computing system diverts the particular call from the agent at the call center. Accordingly, the resources of the call center may be concentrated on original calls and away from repetitive calls.

摘要： A system or method for determining if a telephony network number is ported for use with variable numbering plan comprising, a first network node for receiving a number message comprising at least a first part of a dialled number identifying a called party, and a number portability database, containing routing numbers associated with entries in the database. The first network node is configured to compare the number message with entries in the number portability database. The first network node is configured such that if the number message or a first part of the number message uniquely matches with the whole of an entry in the database and does not match with part of another entry in the database, the first network node determines that a best match has been found. In this case, the first network node routes a call to a second network node identified by the routing number associated with the entry. The first network node is configured such that if the number message matches with at least part of at least one entry in the database, the first network node determines that at least one partial match has been found. The first network node then retrieves a further part of the dialled number. The first network node repeats the comparison based on a new number message comprising said first part of the dialled number and said further part of the dialled number. The first network node is configured such that if at least a first part of the number message cannot be matched to the whole of any entry in the database, the first network node determines that no match has been found. In this case, the first network node routes a call to a second network node identified by the dialled number.

摘要： A computer telephony integration (CTI) client computing device isolates call processing devices from each of a set of back-end business applications of call-center clients for which call-center services are provided. A registered call event is received from a CTI middleware server during active call processing of an incoming telephone call responsive to an interactive voice response (IVR) system storing real-time call data to an independent stand-alone database in association with a unique call-specific database key. The unique call-specific database key is retrieved from the CTI middleware server. A call database record, including the real-time call data, is retrieved from the independent stand-alone database using the unique call-specific database key retrieved from the CTI middleware server. The real-time call data is provided as output to a trusted call center agent that has separate authorization to access a back-end business application appropriate to continue the active call processing.

摘要： Technologies are disclosed for providing an onboarding service within a service provider network for on-demand creation of a contact center. Information associated with an account of a user at the service provider network is utilized to begin creating the contact center. Based upon input from the user, a directory of authorized users and storage for the contact center are created using services available within the service provider network. Encryption keys are created for encrypting customer call recordings and customer phone numbers in the storage. An initial user for handling calls is specified and a call queue is created. A routing profile is created to route calls from the call queue to the initial user. Available phone numbers are provided to the user for the selection of a phone number for accessing the contact center. One this data has been specified, the contact center can be activated for use.

Real-time telephone number ownership and disconnection and port history can be used. This data can be accessed directly from the telephony carriers. Ownership and porting data from publicly available data sources can also be used, in some embodiments, to provide complex and comprehensive ownership verification and ownership reassignment tracking for a telephone number.
