摘要： An information providing device is capable of communicating with an image forming device, a data managing device, and a transmission terminal. The information providing device includes a storage unit; a communication unit that transmits a forming instruction to instruct the image forming device to perform image forming, and receives, from the image forming device, storage location information indicating the data managing device that stores data obtained by image forming by the image forming device and indicating a storage location in the data managing device; and a storage location managing unit that generates, in the storage unit, management information in which identification information of the image data is associated with the storage location information. The communication unit receives the data saved in the storage location indicated by the storage location information from the data managing device and transmits the received data to the transmission terminal.

摘要： This disclosure is directed to systems and methods for the delivery and maintenance of faxes where the faxes may remain at a faxing system for a minimal amount of time. The faxing system may send a queued fax to a connector responsive to a request from the connector to pull or retrieve a fax. The connector is configured to send a release notification to the faxing system after the fax is received. The faxing system is configured to delete the queued fax as soon as confirmation of the delivery of the fax can be determined or when an expiration time has elapsed.

A scan document generated by scanning a paper document is sent to the server from the device to request registration thereof. If the scan document, the registration of which has been requested from the device, has a size that exceeds free space in a contract area, the server extracts a document that meets a save condition from documents that should be stored in the contract area. The server then moves the extracted document from the contract area into a temporary area so as to register in the contract area the scan document the registration of which has been requested from the device. The server notifies a predetermined destination of information about the document moved into the temporary area.
