摘要： The present invention relates to a method for encoding and decoding an image signal and to corresponding apparatuses therefor. In particular, during the encoding and/or decoding of an image signal filtering with at least two filters is performed. The sequence of the filter application and possibly the filters are selected and the filtering is applied in the selected filtering order and with the selected filters. The determination of the sequence of applying the filters may be performed either separately in the same way at the encoder and at the decoder, or, it may be determined at the encoder and signaled to the decoder.

摘要： A wireless display subsystem includes a hardware composition generator, a hardware video encoder, and a wireless hardware transport stream multiplexer. The hardware composition generator reads video data from a memory device and generates video frame data by synthesizing the video data. The hardware video encoder receives the video frame data in an on-the-fly (OTF) manner from the hardware composition generator and generates a video stream by encoding the video frame data. The wireless hardware transport stream multiplexer receives the video stream in the OTF manner from the hardware video encoder, reads an audio stream from the memory device, multiplexes the video stream and the audio stream, and generates a wireless display packet by packetizing the multiplexed video and audio streams.

摘要： It is presented a splicing device for replacing video frames in a transport stream. The splicing device comprises a processor; and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the splicing device to: receive the transport stream comprising frames of a first program stream and frames of a second program stream, and replace at least one of the frames of the second program stream with frames of a replacement program stored in a storage encoded at a plurality of different bit rates, wherein the frames of the replacement program are selected of from the plurality of different bit rates to comply with a maximum bandwidth of the transport stream.

摘要： Coding techniques for input video may include assigning picture identifiers to input frames in either long-form or short-form formats. If a network error has occurred that results in loss of previously-coded video data, a new input frame may be assigned a picture identifier that is coded in a long-form coding format. If no network error has occurred, the input frame may be assigned a picture identifier that is coded in a short-form coding format. Long-form coding may mitigate against loss of synchronization between an encoder and a decoder by picture identifiers.

摘要： A method of adaptive loop filtering for reconstructed video to improve the performance is disclosed. In one embodiment, a loop filter is selected from one or more candidate filters including a circular symmetrical filter candidate. The candidate filters also may include a ½-symmetry filter candidate and a flag is used to select between different symmetries. In another embodiment, a priority-based block filter merge is disclosed. A filter merge list consisting of no more than a first number of filter candidates selected from corresponding filters used by corresponding set members in the neighboring block set is generated according to a priority order of the set members in the neighboring block set. In yet another embodiment, the loop filter is shared by reconstructed video in multiple image units of a same group. The filter merge groups are identified by differences of consecutive group indices.

摘要： A video encoding apparatus appends decoding delay correction information and display delay correction information to encoded video data in order to ensure that even when one or more pictures that are later in encoding order in the video data than a first picture that may potentially be spliced to a trailing end of other encoded video data have been discarded, the first picture and subsequent pictures in the encoded video data can be continuously decoded and displayed by a video decoding apparatus. The video decoding apparatus corrects the decoding delay and display delay of the first picture and its subsequent pictures by using the decoding delay correction information and display delay correction information.
