摘要： Systems and methods for controlling a climate control system of a smart-home environment that includes a plurality of smart devices are provided. One method includes detecting, with a hazard detector of the smart devices, a level of carbon monoxide (CO) at the hazard detector that exceeds a threshold CO level at a location of the hazard detector, determining, by one of the smart devices, that the climate control system includes a combustion based heat source, and in response to the detecting and the determination, transmitting, by a system controller of the climate control system, a first signal to turn off at least one aspect of the climate control system.

A system includes a controlled supply register that has an airflow adjusting mechanism that controls an aperture through which air passes and a register sensor that senses a value of an environmental variable in system duct work. The register also includes a communication system and a processor system that controls the airflow adjusting mechanism. The system also includes a sensor platform that senses an environmental variable in a space and transmits and receives information. The system also includes a controller that receives information about the environmental variables and a desired set point for the environmental variable in the space. The controller determines a target airflow to achieve the desired set point and transmits information about the target airflow. The register receives information about the target airflow and controls the register adjusting mechanism to achieve the target airflow.

摘要： System for displaying hazard events and adjusting hazard detector settings on a mobile device includes a user interface executed on the mobile device, a hazard detector, and a computer server system communicatively coupled to the mobile device and hazard detector. The hazard detector generates hazard events indicating detection of smoke or carbon monoxide. The hazard events are transmitted to the computer server system and then to the mobile device. User interface displays the hazard events in an event group. User interface receives an adjusted value for a setting of the hazard detector and transmits the adjusted value to the computer server system. The computer server system determines that the adjusted value corresponds to the hazard detector, receives a check-in event from the hazard detector, and transmits the adjusted value to the hazard detector in response to receiving the check-in event. The hazard detector applies the adjusted value to the setting.

摘要： Hazard detector for providing a pre-alarm of a developing hazardous condition can include a detection module that detects a hazard level of smoke or carbon monoxide, a light source that generates light, a speaker that generates an audible sound, a horn that generates an audible alarm that a higher volume than the speaker, and a processing module. The processing module can receive the detected hazard level and compare it with the pre-alarm threshold and the emergency threshold. The processing module can determine that the hazard level is greater than the pre-alarm threshold and less than the emergency threshold and cause an audible pre-alarm speech to be generated via the speaker that warns of the developing hazardous condition.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing ordered nanowires array of NiO doped with Pt in situ, comprising: growing a Ni layer on a high-temperature resistant and insulated substrate; applying a photoresist on the Ni layer, pattering a pattern region of the ordered nanowires array by applying electron beam etching on the photoresist, growing Ni on the pattern region of the ordered nanowires array, peeling off the photoresist by acetone and etching the surface of the Ni layer by ion beam etching so as to etch off the Ni layer grown on the surface of the substrate and to leave the Ni on the pattern region of the ordered nanowires array to form the ordered Ni nanowires array; dipping the ordered Ni nanowires array into a solution of H2PtCl6 so as to displace Pt on the Ni nanowires array by a displacement reaction; and oxidizing the Ni nanowires array attached with Pt in an oxidation oven to obtain the ordered nanowires array of NiO doped with Pt. The present invention is simple and practical and the sensitivity and reliability of the doped sensor on the gas of CO and H2 are greatly improved.
