    • A wireless meter reading system and method are provided to facilitate billing a consumer for utility usage. The method comprises providing a camera or imaging device optionally coupled to a utility meter at a consumer site. The camera or imaging device operates to provide one or more wireless meter reading images of the utility meter from time to time. The one or more wireless meter reading images comprise utility usage data and identifying data of the utility meter. The one or more wireless meter reading images are transmitted to the utility provider. The utility consumer receives from the utility provider a billing statement for utility usage at the consumer site for a defined time period. The billing statement is based on the one or more wireless meter reading images transmitted to the utility provider.

    • An automatic meter reading (AMR) system device is adapted to be mounted in a utility meter pit. The device includes a housing constructed to at least partially enclose at least one portion of an AMR system device. The housing is integrally formed with at least two different mounting members selected from among: a rod mounting member that includes a port sized and shaped to receive a rod to facilitate mounting of the device in the pit, a wall mounting member that includes a wall-mount provision that facilitates mounting of the device to a wall of the pit, a tie mounting member constructed to receive at least one tie fastener that facilitates mounting of the device to a structure in the pit, and a lid mounting portion constructed to facilitate mounting of the device to a lid of the pit.

    • A device and method of counting pulse or switch contact signals over time from any commodity in various applications such as manufacturing and process control is provided. The device includes a pulse splitter relay that generates a first output pulse signal and a second pulse output signal. The first output pulse signal is transmitted to a recorder that receives the pulse signal and stores data such as date and time information when the pulse signal was received. The second output pulse signal is transmitted to a downstream system, such as a building management system for example. The data from the recorder and the downstream system may be compared to verify the pulse signals and identify potential sources for error.
