摘要： Systems and methods for analyzing input data records are provided in which a master process initiates a plurality of concurrent first processes each of which comprises, for each data record in at least a subset of a plurality of input data records, creating a parsed representation of the data record and independently applying a procedural language query to the parsed representation to extract one or more values. A respective emit operator is applied to at least one of the extracted one or more values thereby adding corresponding information to a respective intermediate data structure. The respective emit operator implements one of a predefined set of statistical information processing functions. The master process also initiates a plurality of second processes each of which aggregates information from a corresponding subset of intermediate data structures to produce aggregated data that is, in turn, combined to produce output data.

In the case where first task information is stored in the first memory, when resources used in the process of second task information stored in the first memory are the same as resources used in the process of the first task information, the storage management computer computes times required for executing the first task information and the second task information, based on a time during which the processes of the first and second task information conflict with each other.

摘要： A method processes data records. The method partitions the data records into groups and assigns each group to a respective process of a first plurality of processes, which execute in parallel. For each group, the assigned process extracts information from the data records, applies a script with information processing commands applied sequentially to produce intermediate values, stores the intermediate values in a respective intermediate data structure, and updates the status of the group to indicate completion. When the predefined threshold percentage of the data records are completed, the process assigns each group to a respective second process as a backup. When each of the groups has been completed by at least one process (either the original or the backup), the method executes a second plurality of processes to aggregate intermediate values from the intermediate data structures to produce output data. The aggregation includes intermediate values only once for each group.

摘要： A system and method for identifying related messages are provided. A set of messages, each having a header, sender and transmission time, is obtained. A message is selected from the set. A body of the selected message is compared to a body of a further message in the set. The further message is labeled as a duplicate of the selected message when the bodies match. The duplicate labeling of the further message is verified when the header, sender, and transmission time of the further message matches the header, sender, and transmission time of the selected message. The duplicate messages are removed from the set. The remaining messages are sorted in order of message length. A shorter message is compared with a longer message and is marked as a near duplicate of the longer message when the body of the shorter message is included in the body of the longer message.

In an embodiment, a plurality of object instances may be received from the network server, and at least one object instance may be selected. In this manner, data synchronization between the network server and the mobile device may advantageously include only those object instances that are needed by the mobile device, thereby preventing redundant, or omitted, data transfers.

The method further includes receiving content item selection actions from the user and analyzing the microgenre metadata within the selected content items to learn the preferred microgenres of the user. The method includes, in response to receiving subsequent user search input, selecting and presenting content items in an order that portrays as relatively more relevant those content items containing microgenre metadata that more closely match the learned microgenre preferences of the user.
