摘要： A compact hydraulic manifold for transporting shear sensitive fluids is provided. A channel network can include a trunk and branch architecture coupled to a bifurcation architecture. Features such as tapered channel walls, curvatures and angles of channels, and zones of low fluid pressure can be used to reduce the size while maintaining wall shear rates within a narrow range. A hydraulic manifold can be coupled to a series of microfluidic layers to construct a compact microfluidic device.

摘要： The invention relates to a sanitary component, namely a stream regulator or stream former for flowing fluid media, consisting of property-defining components in a sandwich-like arrangement in the direction of flow which comprise at least one screen attachment, one diffuser plate assembly as well as a shell body having segments of stream-forming openings extending across its cross-sectional surface. The property-defining components are exchangeable and combinable so as to realize adaptability to different user and user requirements. A locking means is provided e.g. on the inner circumference of the shell body for this purpose as is a corresponding counter-locking means on the outer circumference of the diffuser plate assembly. The diffuser plate assembly exhibits, at least on its exterior, a flow rate class-specifying optical code and the shell body exhibits a stream type-specifying, namely laminar or aerated, optical code.

The pressure indicator is translatably operated and includes just two stable positions, i.e. one that corresponds to the presence of pressure, and the other to the absence of pressure.

摘要： A fuel feeding system for a vehicle may include a fuel tank and a subsidiary jet pump. The fuel tank is divided into a first portion in which a reservoir is installed and a second portion in which the subsidiary jet pump is installed. The subsidiary jet pump pumps out fuel pressurized by a fuel pump and causes the fuel in the second portion of the fuel tank to enter the reservoir using a pressure difference generated during pumping of the fuel. The subsidiary jet pump includes a nozzle unit and a diffuser unit. The diffuser unit surrounds an injection portion of the nozzle unit with a suction channel disposed therebetween. The suction channel has a suction hole and a discharge hole and is structured to cause fuel suctioned through the suction hole and fuel discharged through the discharge hole to flow in the same direction.

摘要： A sand check filter for preventing solids from reentering into a pump. The filter is designed to mount atop a conventional rod pump. The filter allows well fluid, that contains high solids, to pass through the pump under normal operation while eliminating the solids from being swept back into the pump barrel. The filter includes a sleeve that has radial flutes that allows the sleeve from hanging up, sticking to or wedging itself to the valve rod. The sleeve is rotated on the valve rod to create a valve effect atop the filter. This prevents the fluid from passing through the inner diameter of the screen and forces solids within the fluid to be redirected to the outer diameter of the filter. This allows the fluid to be filtered before reentering the pump.
