摘要： A coaxial connector assembly for interconnection with a coaxial cable with a solid outer conductor is provided with a monolithic connector body with a bore. A mating surface with a decreasing diameter toward a connector end is provided on an outer diameter of the connector body proximate the connector end. An overbody may be provided overmolded upon a cable end of the connector body. An interface end may be seated upon the mating surface, the interface end provided with a desired connection interface. The interface end may be permanently coupled to the mating surface by a molecular bond interconnection. In a method of interconnection, the interface end is coupled to the mating surface by application of radial ultrasonic welding.

摘要： Disclosed is a leak detection cable that has an outer jacket layer and a four wire construction in a flat wire configuration that is twisted in a helix. Detection cables are disposed on the exterior surface adjacent openings of the jacket to allow for detection of aqueous fluids. The wire is twisted in a helix to allow adjacent detector wires to easily detect aqueous fluids. Disparate materials are used for the jacket and the coatings of the wires, to allow the jacket to be easily removed from the wires without affecting the integrity of the coatings of the wires. The four flat wire configuration is sized and spaced for easy connection to an insulation displacement connector.

A unitary connector body with a bore is provided with an overbody surrounding an outer diameter of the connector body. The outer conductor is inserted within the bore. A molecular bond is formed between the outer conductor and the connector body and between the jacket and the overbody. An inner conductor end cap may also be provided coupled to the end of the inner conductor via a molecular bond.

摘要： A coaxial cable connector for coupling an end of a coaxial cable to a terminal is disclosed. The connector has a coupler adapted to couple the connector to a terminal, a body assembled with the coupler and a post assembled with the coupler and the body. The post is adapted to receive an end of a coaxial cable. The coupler, the body or the post has an integral, monolithic contacting portion. When the connector is coupled to the terminal and a coaxial cable is received by the body, the contacting portion provides for electrical continuity from an outer conductor of the coaxial cable through the connector to the terminal other than by a separate component. The contacting portion is formable and forms to a contour of at least one of the body and the coupler when the body at least partially assembles with the coupler.
