摘要： A novel reinforcement system for maximizing tensile strength and modulus of elasticity per ply for composite systems has one or more pockets with a first pocket edge, a second pocket edge, a pocket front surface, and a pocket rear surface. The pocket front surface and the pocket rear surface each have a pocket cross-stitch that perpendicularly traverses the pocket. The pocket traverses the fabric parallel and adjacent to the first fabric edge and the second fabric edge in a warp, or 0 degree, or x-axis direction. The pockets contain one or more fiber tows with a plurality of filaments in a stack.

摘要： According to a nonwoven fabric substrate (1) for wiping sheet of the invention, ridges (2) and grooves (3) are alternately formed at positions corresponding to each other on both surfaces (1a, 1b), and apertures (4) are formed in the grooves (3). Each of the ridges (2) and the grooves (3) extend parallel to one side of the nonwoven fabric substrate (1). Each of the grooves (3) alternately includes an aperture portion (3h) which has a plurality of the apertures (4), and a non-aperture portion (3n) which has no aperture (4) and is longer than a distance between the nearest end portions of the adjacent apertures (4) in the aperture portion (3h). An arrangement pattern of the aperture portion (3h) and the non-aperture portion (3n) provided in the groove (3a) is different from an arrangement pattern of the aperture portion (3h) and the non-aperture portion (3n) provided in an adjacent groove (3b). When the whole of the nonwoven fabric substrate (1) is seen in planar view, the nonwoven fabric substrate (1) has an aperture region (11) formed by the aperture portions (3h) of a plurality of the grooves (3), and a non-aperture region (12) formed by the non-aperture portions (3n) of a plurality of the grooves (3). Each of the aperture region (11) and the non-aperture region (12) is arranged in a predetermined pattern.

The article includes a profile including a planar wall, and an adjacent integral molded depression having a contoured wall extending downwardly from the planar wall. The contoured wall includes a bead portion, a cove portion, and a ledge between the bead and cove portions. The articles are stackable, one above another for transport, in a nestable relationship in which multiple contact zones are present between the contoured walls of an adjacently stacked pair of the molded articles. The contact zones include an arcuately extending contact interface zone between the bead exterior and interior surfaces. The depression has a substantially uniform thickness varying by no more than about +1 percent to about −11 percent in relation to a thickness of the planar wall. Related methods and assemblies are also provided.

摘要： An highly porous electrically conducting film that includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes, nanowires or a combination of both. The highly porous electrically conducting film exhibits an electrical resistivity of less than 0.1 Ω·cm at 25 C and a density of between 0.05 and 0.70 g/cm3. The film can exhibit a density between 0.50 and 0.85 g/cm3 and an electrical resistivity of less than 6×10−3 Ω·cm at 25 C. Also included is a method of forming these highly porous electrically conducting films by forming a composite film using carbon nanotubes or nanowires and sacrificial nanoparticles or microparticles. At least a portion of the nanoparticles or microparticles are then removed from the composite film to form the highly porous electrically conducting film.

In the respective compressed debosses 70, thermoplastic synthetic fibers forming the liquid-pervious sheet 11 more densely gather together than in zones surrounding the respective compressed debosses 70 and thereby maintain initial fiber formation of the individual thermoplastic synthetic fibers.
