摘要： A personal grooming device designed to loosen and remove dirt and other debris from the surface of a material, such as a shirt or jacket. The grooming device comprises a handle, an inner cage fixedly attached to the handle and sized to receive a travel-size lint roller, an outer cage sized to fit over the travel-size lint roller, and an outer sleeve made from moleskin sized to fit around the outer cage. The outer sleeve may be constructed from an piece of adhesive-backed material wrapped around the outer cage or a single piece of cylindrical material sized to snuggly fit around the external cage. The outer sleeve may be made from other materials. In use, the sleeve loosens debris from a surface after which the external cage with sleeve is removed to expose the lint roller. The lint roller then picks up the loosed dirt and debris.

The hand-held device comprises two handles and two workpieces. A pressure source is placed in the handle, creating a pressure at a first workpiece. The fabric is placed between the first workpiece and the second workpiece, drawing a stain removal liquid from a reservoir in the second workpiece through the fabric.

摘要： An adhesive roller for detritus removal having an elongated strip where the strip has both a backing layer and an adhesive layer overlying and covering a first side of the backing layer. The strip also has a first end, a second end and two spaced apart sides. The strip is wound from its first end and to its second end into a tubular cylindrical roller with the adhesive layer facing outwardly. An adhesive release coating also overlies at least a portion of a second side of the backing layer. The adhesive release coating may be either applied as a liquid coating, or may be a solid substrate. This adhesive release coating facilitates removal of individual sheets from the roller. Alternatively, a portion of the backing layer is crimped to form alternating peaks and valleys along at least a portion of the backing layer. These alternating peaks and valleys limit the amount of areal contact between the backing layer and the next inner adhesive layer of the roller to facilitate removal of individual sheets from the roller.

摘要： A QAM/VSB digital television (DTV) receiver of plural conversion type uses the same circuitry up to a penultimate IF amplifier for receiving DTV signals no matter whether they use QAM or VSB modulation. The converter used for generating final IF signals when QAM modulation is received and the converter used for generating final IF signals when VSB modulation is received have respective mixers and respective local oscillators with separate automatic frequency and phase control. The use of such separate converters avoids a lock-out from VSB reception mode that otherwise can occur during the reception of DTV signals with VSB modulation.

Polyester fabric, non-woven and chemically bonded with an acrylic latex is used to dust surfaces, to clean clothes, furniture and carpets. A light solvent such as isopropanol can be used with the sheets to loosen gummy soils. In one mode, the sheets are used in a hot air clothes dryer to remove soils and detritus from garments. Processes for cleaning a variety of fabric and hard surfaces are conducted using the sheets.
