A specific volume of the road adhesive may be dispensed by the system on the road surface, and a road stud placement assembly may automatically place a road stud in the dispensed adhesive. The stud placement system is operable to automatically dispense stud adhesive and place road studs in succession. According to certain embodiments, the placement system may be supported by a traffic safety vehicle, which enables the worker to automatically place the road studs while driving the vehicle.

摘要： A thermoplastic material processing method and system including an integrated melting, pressurizing and dispensing unit and a regulated feed supply system to improve overall performance by only heating the amount of material needed and minimizing the time it is at raised temperatures. The system includes a compact heat exchanger consisting of a plurality of thin heater plates arranged primarily parallel and spaced closely together to form small spaces therebetween. This puts all thermoplastic material in close proximity with the heated surfaces thus improving the overall melting process. The heat exchanger can include heater plates arranged in a radial or fan orientation and a grid of thin heated fins set within a heated enclosure.

摘要： The invention relates to an arrangement for changing a winding drum in a take-up or feed-out chamber of a coating installation for web-form material. One such arrangement can be provided on both sides of a coating chamber, the one arrangement serving as a take-up drum and the other arrangement as a feed-out drum. The arrangement comprises two tracks for receiving end bearings of a winding drum, the tracks being comprised of two parts, of which the one part is stationary and the other is pivotable. The arrangement is located in a housing with a door. If the winding drum is to be replaced, the door is opened and the pivotable parts of the tracks are folded outwardly such that they project from the housing. Onto the projecting track parts a winding drum can now be placed, it can subsequently be slid inwardly and be arrested.

摘要： A dispensing unit for a hot melt adhesive system has a manifold centrally located within the dispensing unit to permit commonality between heated hoses of substantially the same length used to supply adhesive guns at either side of the dispensing unit. The dispensing unit also includes a manifold that is thermally isolated from the adhesive tank. The manifold has a heater that is independent of the tank heater for more precise temperature control of adhesive flowing through the manifold. A pump coupled to the manifold is located external to the tank and is heated by the manifold heater.

The wrapped mass of material is spirally wound about itself.
