摘要： A seal ring for a seal assembly includes a body and a seal flange. The body is generally cylindrical, extending along a longitudinal axis between a load end and a seal end. The seal flange is disposed adjacent the seal end of the body, projecting radially in a circumscribing manner from the body. The seal flange includes a sealing face having a sealing band for sealing contact with a mating seal ring. A layer of coating composition formulated to help increase the corrosion resistance of the seal ring is applied to at least the body. A mask is applied to the seal ring to cover at least a portion of the seal ring having the layer of coating composition applied thereto such that the sealing band remains exposed. The sealing band is polished by an isotropic finishing process. The mask is removed after the sealing band is isotropically polished.

摘要： A method for producing a hollow engine valve is disclosed which involves gradually reducing the size of the outer diameter and inner diameter of a hollow shaft of a semi-finished product sequentially inserting the hollow shaft into a plurality of molding holes having different hole shapes so as to gradually extend the length of the hollow shaft, and forming the hollow shaft into a predetermined shape by sequentially performing a drawing process. The semi-finished product is subjected to heat treatment such that the hardness thereof is equal to or less than a predetermined hardness, and the maximum thickness between the hollow shaft and an umbrella portion connected to the bottom edge of the hollow shaft is formed to be thicker than the thickness of the hollow shaft by means of a molding hole of a die which is adjusted to have a specific length and maximum inner diameter.

According to the invention, the micro-valve has at least one elastically deformable seal structure which, for example, can be formed by a photostructurable silicone, to seal off the first and/or second passage.

摘要： A method of producing a diaphragm damper 1 having a high pressure chamber 3 comprised of two diaphragms 2 with flanges 6 welded together and charged inside with a high pressure gas. The diaphragms 2 are made of magnetically attractable thin metal sheets. A pair of jigs 30, 40 provided to face each other inside the pressure vessel 20 hold the diaphragms 2 by magnetic force. The pressure vessel 20 is sealed and evacuated, then the pressure vessel 20 is charged and pressurized by a mixed gas including helium. After this, the pair of jigs 30, 40 are made to approach each other to make the flanges 6 of the pair of diaphragms 2 come into close contact. Inside the pressure vessel 20, the jigs 30, 40 are simultaneously rotated to rotate the pair of diaphragms 2 and a laser beam is fired at the flanges 6 of the diaphragms 2 to weld the flanges 6 over their entire circumferences.

摘要： An integrated microfluidic check valve has a first chamber having inlet and outlet ports and divided by a barrier the said inlet and outlet ports into first and second subchambers. A membrane forms a wall of the first chamber and co-operates with the barrier to selectively permit and prevent fluid flow between the inlet and outlet ports. A second chamber adjoining the first chamber and has a wall formed by the membrane. A microfluidic channel establishes fluid communication between the second chamber and the first subchamber. The membrane deflects to permit fluid flow around the barrier when the pressure in the first subchamber is lower than the pressure in the second subchamber. Two such valves can be combined into a peristaltic pump.
