摘要： A portable rasping platform for rasping a top surface of a wall panel includes a plurality of adjustable leveling supports, a pair of support rails, and a drum rasp assembly. The drum rasp assembly includes a drum rasp, a motor coupled to the drum rasp and configured to rotate the drum rasp at a suitable speed, and a truss frame supporting the drum rasp and configured to roll along the pair of support rails. The pair of support rails are configured to be positioned on the plurality of adjustable leveling supports arranged in parallel a certain space apart, and the plurality of adjustable leveling supports are configured to support the wall panel. The drum rasp is configured to pass over and treat the top surface of the wall panel as the drum rasp assembly is displaced along the pair of support rails.

Each of the grinding studs includes a stud portion and an abrasive particle attached to each other, the stud portions being respectively attached into the openings, and the abrasive particles protruding outward from the surface, each of the abrasive particles having a pattern cut across a tip thereof to define multiple apexes adjacent to one another. In some embodiments, methods of fabricating a grinding tool are also described.

摘要： A retaining ring for holding a substrate below a carrier head during chemical mechanical polishing includes an annular lower portion and an annular upper portion secured to the lower portion. The annular lower portion has a main body with a bottom surface for contacting a polishing pad during polishing, and is a first material. A top surface of the upper portion is configured to be secured to the carrier head. The upper portion is a second material that is more rigid than the first material. A thickness and stiffness of the lower portion is selected for a particular polishing environment to improve polishing uniformity near an edge of the substrate.

The controller has particular utility for use in controlling a honing process and a gaging process, which can be in-process or post-process, and which can be used for bore sizing and other parameters.
