    • Provided is a rubber composition for producing a rubber molded article that is improved in fouling resistance while being reduced in tackiness and frictional force despite the presence of the rubber in its surface. The rubber composition includes: a rubber A; and a plastic B, in which: the rubber A includes a non-fluorine-based rubber material; a difference in elastic modulus between the rubber A and the plastic B is 50 MPa or more; a sea-island structure having a sea portion containing the rubber A and a plurality of island portions each containing the plastic B is formed; the plastic B is contained at a content of more than 0 vol % and 50 vol % or less with respect to a total amount of the rubber A and the plastic B; and 90% or more of the plurality of island portions each have a volume of 4,000 μm3 or less.

    • A caulking tube assembly is provided having a cap and an auger component. The auger component has an auger engagement head portion and a helical or spiral portion. The helical portion is compressible and sized to be fitted in a tube for holding caulk. The auger engagement head has a hexagonal shaft housing sized to receive a mixing shaft therein. A dye or tint color formula is added to caulk disposed in the tube and the mixing shaft engages the auger component mixing the caulk and dye or tint color formula to produce tinted caulk. The caulk is colored to satisfy the requirements of virtually any application and dispensed from a caulking gun. In another preferred embodiment there is a caulking tube assembly with having a closed cap and a mixing component. The mixing component has a shaft engagement portion and a shaftless auger portion.

    • The invention relates to a multiscrew, continuous mixing machine for plasticizable compounds with two screws, which rotate in the same direction in a housing and which penetrate the cylindrical part of the housing that envelopes the screws. The screws include axially spaced apart conveying sections and at least one mixing section therebetween. The conveying sections are formed by intermeshing conveying screws. The mixing section is formed by mixing elements. The mixing elements are followed by restricting elements which include short screw elements with back feed thread. The back feed thread forms a vertex, which progresses radially shortened along a thread in such a way that the radius of the vertex is shorter on the inlet side than on the outlet side and inbetween increases continuously towards the outlet side.
