摘要： A method for extruding a comestible material comprises the steps of passing comestible material into an extruder (100) with rotation of the extruder screw(s) (120, 122) and delivery of fluid comprising steam and water into an opening (114a) of the extruder barrel (104). The fluid delivery step comprises separately directing individual quantities of steam and water into the casing (72) of a static mixing section (54), and blending the steam and water to create a blended mixture, and then delivering the blended mixture into the barrel (114a). The blended mixture is delivered to the barrel opening (114a) by means of a conveying assembly (84, 86) having a pipe assembly (86) with an outlet in communication with the barrel opening (114a); the pipe assembly (86) and opening (114a) have diameters less than maximum internal diameter of the static mixer casing (72).

摘要： The instant disclosure provides a die assembly for producing microcapillary film. The die assembly is operatively connectable to an extruder having a thermoplastic material passing therethrough. The die assembly includes a pair of die plates, a manifold, and a plurality of nozzles. The manifold is positionable between the pair of die plates and defining a plurality of film channels therebetween. The plurality of film channels converge into an elongate outlet. The thermoplastic material is extrudable through the plurality of film channels and the elongate outlet to form a multi-layer film. The plurality of nozzles are positionable between the plurality of film channels. The plurality of nozzles are operatively connectable to a source of channel fluid for emitting the channel fluid into the thermoplastic materials exiting the die whereby microcapillaries are formed.

摘要： A method for producing an environment protective foamed thermoplastic resin polymer comprises using an extruder with a helical rod to be driven to rotate. The extruder has a feeding section, a melting section, a mixing section and a heating-shaping section formed therein. The method includes a plurality of steps, in which thermoplastic resin is heated, melted in the melting section and moved into the mixing section, and hollow expansion balls are fed into the extruder to be evenly mixed with the melted thermoplastic resin. Then the hollow expansion balls are slightly heated and inflated, and moved into the heating-shaping section, and then the balls are heated at foaming temperature, foamed and inflated. After being injected through a nozzle, the melted thermoplastic resin and the hollow balls become a foamed thermoplastic resin polymer with a preset thickness and shape.
