摘要： A tire plug apparatus for repairing a hole in a tubeless tire on a rim using a tire plug is provided. The tire plug apparatus includes: a body configured to receive an insertion tip for inserting the tire plug into the hole; an adjustable stabilizing arm or strap configured to attach to the body and adjust to contact the tire or rim in order to stabilize the body with respect to the hole; and a motor within or otherwise attached to the body. The motor is configured to: supply an insertion force to insert the received insertion tip into the hole in order to insert the tire plug into the hole using the insertion tip while the body remains stabilized with respect to the hole; and supply an extraction force to extract the inserted insertion tip from the hole while leaving the inserted tire plug in the hole.

In one form, the kit may include: a hollow housing with a leading end region and a trailing end region; a plunger with a front end region and a back end region, the front end region having a tubular nose, the front end region being adapted to be received in the leading end region of the hollow housing; a plug having a head portion and a shaft portion extending therefrom, the shaft portion of the plug being adapted to be mounted at least partially in a tubular nose of the front end region of the plunger; a sealing ring that surrounds the plunger proximate the front end region thereof, the sealing ring serving to interface with an inner wall of the hollow housing; and an adhesive provided below an underside of the head portion of the plug.

In one embodiment, the tire repair tool discloses an transmittal control section, with the transmittal control section comprising a proximal end, the proximal end having an opening a distal end, with the distal end having a centralized opening to align with a punctureable seal at a proximal end of a gas cartridge; a passageway positioned between the proximal end of the gas cartridge and the distal end; and a puncture tool which can puncture the punctureable seal of the gas cartridge. The puncture tool is positioned at the distal end of the transmittal control section along the air passage way. An insertion tube comprises an air inlet at a distal end of the insertion tube which is connected to the opening of the proximal end of the transmittal control section. A gas outlet passes air from a gas cartridge through the air passage way through the transmittal control section into the air inlet of the insertion tube and through the gas outlet.

摘要： A plug and tire repair device are for repairing a puncture in a vehicle tire. The device includes an applicator including a stem portion and a tip portion for insertion into a puncture and through a wall of the tire, at least a part of the stem portion and the tip portion having a passage therethough, and a plug. The plug has a plug shaft made of a resilient material, a stopper portion provided at a first end of the plug shaft and a patch portion provided at a second end of the plug shaft opposite the first end, the patch portion having a closed position in which the patch portion is folded around the plug shaft and an open position in which the patch portion is extends outwardly from the plug shaft in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plug shaft. The plug shaft and the patch portion are guidable through the passage in the applicator.
