摘要： Devices are taught for filling a tire with air, gas or a liquid and repairing the tire. In one embodiment, the tire repair tool discloses an transmittal control section, with the transmittal control section comprising a proximal end, the proximal end having an opening a distal end, with the distal end having a centralized opening to align with a punctureable seal at a proximal end of a gas cartridge; a passageway positioned between the proximal end of the gas cartridge and the distal end; and a puncture tool which can puncture the punctureable seal of the gas cartridge. The puncture tool is positioned at the distal end of the transmittal control section along the air passage way. An insertion tube comprises an air inlet at a distal end of the insertion tube which is connected to the opening of the proximal end of the transmittal control section. A gas outlet passes air from a gas cartridge through the air passage way through the transmittal control section into the air inlet of the insertion tube and through the gas outlet.

摘要： Particular embodiments of the invention include methods and apparatus for deforming a tire sidewall. Such methods include the step of providing a tire having at least one sidewall connected to a corresponding bead. A further step includes constraining at least one of the sidewall and bead from moving laterally toward the other. Yet another step of such methods includes engaging the sidewall with an inclined member. Another step of such methods includes moving at lest one of the sidewall and bead in a lateral direction away from the other until the sidewall is laterally deformed into a laterally deformed configuration.

摘要： A plug and tire repair device are for repairing a puncture in a vehicle tire. The device includes an applicator including a stem portion and a tip portion for insertion into a puncture and through a wall of the tire, at least a part of the stem portion and the tip portion having a passage therethough, and a plug. The plug has a plug shaft made of a resilient material, a stopper portion provided at a first end of the plug shaft and a patch portion provided at a second end of the plug shaft opposite the first end, the patch portion having a closed position in which the patch portion is folded around the plug shaft and an open position in which the patch portion is extends outwardly from the plug shaft in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plug shaft. The plug shaft and the patch portion are guidable through the passage in the applicator.

The device includes a stop that forms an abutment at the interface between the first cavity and one of the second cavities, a ring having a deformable corrugated shape, an initial inside diameter, an initial outside diameter smaller than the second diameter, and being positioned in the first cavity, a deformation element having an elastically variable outside diameter initially smaller than the initial inside diameter of the ring, and a tool being able to increase the outside diameter of the deformation element so that it deforms the ring in the first cavity in order to reduce the difference between the first and second diameters.

摘要： A tire-patching tool and its patching method includes a pneumatic tool for producing a rotation force with a preset rotating speed, and a tire-patching needle with a tire seal strip assembled on the pneumatic tool to be driven into a broken hole of a tire. In using, the pneumatic tool is started to transmit a rotation force to the tire-patching needle so that the tire-patching needle can be vertically driven into the tire in the direction of the broken hole to let the tire seal strip stuck in the broken hole of the tire, and then remove out the tire-patching needle to finish tire patching work. By the pneumatic tool driving the tire-patching needle to produce a rotation force, the tire seal strip can quickly and accurately be stuck in the broken hole of the tire, saving time and labor in carrying out tire patching work.
