Risers may include an angled wall connecting a first end and a second end spaced apart along a central lengthwise axis. In an embodiment, the riser may include a plurality of latches spaced around the first end and the second end with radially extending lips and canted terminal end surfaces. A plurality of receivers may be spaced between the first plurality of latches on the first end and the second end. Alternatively, plurality of latches may include a first and second latch body extending to a terminal end that comprises a first circumferentially extending lip and a first canted terminal end surface. Risers may be configured to connect to other risers to form a riser assembly.

摘要： The present disclosure is to a scale for measuring a weight of a mass inside of an intermodal freight container. The scale includes a first bottom side rail, a second bottom side rail, a first cross-member and a second cross-member, where the cross-members join the first bottom side rail and the second bottom side rail. The scale further includes a jointed member having a first elongate section joined to the first bottom side rail with a first hinge, a second elongate section joined to the second bottom side rail with a second hinge, and a third hinge that connects the first elongate section and the second elongate section. A container floor is positioned over the jointed member to allow force from a weight of a mass on the container floor to be transferred through the hinges into a first lateral force through the first elongate section into the first bottom side rail, where a load cell associated with the first bottom side rail provides an electrical signal whose magnitude is representative of the first lateral force being imparted by the weight of the mass. A microprocessor receives and stores in memory the electrical signal from the load cell indicating the weight of the mass inside of the intermodal freight container.

摘要： Methods and systems are described that use multiple node-enabled autonomous transport vehicles on a single logistics operation having multiple legs performed by different transport vehicles with enhanced transfer of the item being shipped between such vehicles. A first or primary master node on a first node-enabled autonomous transport vehicle detects a signal from the second master node on a second transport vehicle, navigates to the second transport vehicle based on the detected signal and its direction, and may dock in a transfer configuration. At least one item (or a container with an item) is transferred as payload from the first to the second vehicle using one or more object manipulation systems on respective ones of the first and second transport vehicles. The second vehicle then detects a signal from another node, and navigates to that node as another leg in the multi-leg operation.

摘要： A protective housing is formed of a set wall panels, a base panel, and a lid panel that interlock to form the housing, but may also be taken apart and stored as a stack of two-dimensional panels when not in use. The various panels interlock via configurations internal to the housing itself, so that once an external lock is placed to secure the access door to the front wall panel, it is completely self-contained and impossible to dismantle or otherwise take apart the individual components of the housing from the outside. The rear wall and/or a side wall are formed to include exhaust locations for an included generator, thus requiring no additional ventilation system to be separately constructed and included. The walls may be formed of steel, high density plastic, fiberglass, or other suitable rugged material appropriate for use in structures exposed to the environment.

摘要： Methods are described that perform a dispatched consumer-to-store return or swap logistics operation for an item being replaced using a modular autonomous bot apparatus assembly and a dispatch server. The method begins with receiving a return operation dispatch command that includes identifier information, transport parameters, and designated pickup information for the item being replaced/returned, along with authentication information related to an authorized supplier of the item being replaced. Modular components of the bot apparatus are verified to be compatible with the dispatched logistics operation. The MAM then autonomously causes the bot apparatus to move to the designated pickup location, notifies the authorized supplier of an approaching pickup, receives supplier authorization input to permissively allow access to a payload area within the bot apparatus, monitors loading as the item being replaced is received along with return documentation, and then autonomously causes movement of the bot apparatus back to the origin location.
