摘要： A method for exchanging molds in a concrete products forming machine (CPM) comprises moving a first mold cassette assembly along a linear path to a mold receiving position adjacent to a concrete products forming machine. The first mold is then moved out of the CPM along a mold-transfer path perpendicular to the linear path of the first mold cassette assembly. The first mold is then mounted within the first mold cassette assembly which then moves along the linear path out of the mold-receiving position. The second mold cassette assembly, and pre-mounted second mold, are then moved along the linear path to the mold-extracting position. The second mold is then demounted from the second mold cassette assembly and moved along the mold-transfer path to the concrete products forming machine to effect a mold change within the CPM.

摘要： In one example, a radiation scanning system and method rotates a cargo conveyance after removal from a ship for proper orientation with respect to a scanning source and detector, for scanning. A movable carriage may be provided on a crane system, to rotate the cargo conveyance. A rotating flywheel on the carriage rotates in a direction opposite the direction of rotation of the cargo conveyance, to counterbalance angular momentum generated by the rotating conveyance, to avoid or minimize twisting of the carriage. Feedback is provided to control the rotation of the flywheel. Once the cargo conveyance is in the predetermined position, the conveyance is moved between the radiation source and detector for scanning by a vertically extending radiation beam.

A pair of first trolleys is slidably attached to the main beam. A first girder is attached to each one of the first trolleys and extends outwardly from the first trolleys for movement with the first trolleys. The first girder includes a pair of posts having a first and a second post disposed spaced from one another. The first post is attached to the first girder and extends downwardly from the first girder. The second post is slidably attached to the first girder and is movable along the first girder toward and away from the main beam allowing the gantry assembly to have different widths to accommodate for a single or double railway bridge.

The trolley also has its own on-board drive system capable of setting the cylinder of the spare print assembly in rotation on the frame, independently of the other cylinder, which continues occupying and operating in the print station, so that adjustments can be made in readiness for the next run without stopping the machine.
