摘要： Methods of treating a plant exposed to a phytotoxicant are provided. Embodiments of the subject methods include identifying a plant exposed to a phytotoxicant and applying an assimilable carbon-skeleton energy component-comprising composition to the identified plant. Embodiments of the subject compositions may include one or more of a macronutrient component, micronutrient component, vitamin/cofactor component, complexing agent and microbe. Kits for use in practicing the subject invention are also provided. The subject methods find use in a variety of different applications in which a plant is phytotoxic or at least in danger of becoming phytotoxic due to exposure or potential exposure to a phytotoxicant.

In some examples, a fluid composition includes a mixture of about 40 to 20 parts of dissolved acid or acid-formed approximately neutral pH nitrogen plant nutrient compounds (such as urea ammonium nitrate and H2O) and about 1 to about 5 parts of a mixture of insoluble or weakly soluble high pH calcium-formed plant nutrient compounds (such as calcium cyanamide and H2O). The disclosed compositions and methods stabilize the compositions' contained active nutrient ions and digested carbon. The disclosed compositions and methods facilitate controllable site-directed delivery of the contents of the compositions. The compositions and methods are effective for microbes nourishment plant fertilizing, soil amending, heavy metals leaching inhibition, and digesting organic proteinaceous excreta. The compositions are stable, easily calibrated, and non-clogging for soil injection, spray and irrigation water delivery to target sites.

摘要： Mechanically strong, water-disintegrable agglomerates made from a particulate calcium source, a water-soluble binder and optionally containing a primary plant nutrient source and/or micronutrient source and a process for forming such agglomerates are disclosed. The agglomerates may be used as a soil liming agent and for introducing nutrient values into cultivated soil. Also disclosed is a method for introducing nutrient values into cultivated soil so as to inhibit leaching of the nutrient values from the soil and improve utilization of the nutrient values by plants grown in the soil.
