摘要： A component for a vehicle interior is disclosed. The component may be formed from a composition comprising polyketone resin in a range of less than about 40 percent by weight, compatible resin, copolymer, compatibilizer and reinforcing material. An effect on a surface of the component is provided by the composition as a result of crystallinity and half-time of crystallization. The composition may provide crystallinity above about 15 percent and half-time crystallization above about 42 seconds. The component may provide crystallinity in a range of between about 17 to 26 percent. The effect provided by crystallinity and crystallization rate of the composition may comprise a substantially consistent visual effect at the surface of the component. The composition may comprise a polyketone composite material. A method of forming the component providing the crystallinity for the visual surface effect from the composition in a tool as a molded part is also disclosed.

摘要： In various embodiments, the present invention is directed to terpolymers of carbon monoxide (CO), olefins (alkenes), and epoxides, as well as related methods and catalysts for their making and use. These terpolymer chains are comprised of ketone repeat units, ester repeat units, and ether repeat units. The additional presence of the ester repeat units and ether repeat units have the effect of lowering terpolymer melt temperature relative to that of similar polyketone, thus separating melt temperature from decomposition temperature, making it suitable for melt processing. In a single reaction mixture, the same metal catalyst that polymerizes CO with olefins also incorporates epoxide monomers into the terpolymer in the form of ester or ester and ether linkages. As a part of the terpolymer chain, the ester groups can undergo hydrolysis, rendering these terpolymer compositions hydrolytically degradable.

摘要： A film-forming composition is characterized by containing: a triazine ring-containing hyperbranched polymer containing a repeating unit structure represented by formula (1); and a dissolution-enhancing agent for breaking a hydrogen bond formed at least within the hyperbranched polymer and/or between molecules, between a nitrogen atom in the triazine ring, and a diarylamine-derived NH group. The paint composition provides the coated surfaces with excellent resistance to a wide variety of weather conditions, and alleviates health and safety concerns associated with long-term exposure to conventional organic-based paints.
