摘要： A preparation method includes 1) dispersing cellulose nanocrystal in water and adjusting pH to 7; 2) adding carboxylate to the aqueous dispersion of the step 1), and stirring until uniform; and 3) adding a monomer and a ceric ammonium nitrate initiator to the system of the step 2), reacting for 0.5-3 h to obtain a precipitate, and subjecting the precipitate to suction filtration, washing, and drying to obtain the cellulose nanocrystal powder. By adding a small amount of carboxylate into a cellulose nanocrystal graft polymer modification system initiated by ceric ammonium nitrate, hydrolysis of cerium ions can be inhibited through complexation of the carboxylate to the cerium ions which play an initiating role in ceric ammonium nitrate, so that ceric ammonium nitrate can initiate the polymerization reaction under acid-free conditions, thereby achieving polymerization of polyvinyl acetate monomer on the surface of cellulose nanocrystals.

摘要： A biodegradable and biocompatible hydrogel of tunable conductivity is provided. The hydrogel includes a polymer conjugated to a bio-ionic liquid. The mechanical and electrical properties of the hydrogel can be varied by altering the ratio of the polymer to the bio-ionic liquid in the conjugated polymer. These properties can be varied also by changing the percent weight of the conjugated polymer in the hydrogel. A method for preparing the hydrogel is also provided.

摘要： A multi-functionally modified polymer binder for lithium ion batteries, which is prepared by a free radical graft copolymerization or a Michael addition reaction, with a biomass polymer or a synthetic polymer as a substrate, and a hydrophilic monomer and a lipophilic monomer as functionally modifying monomers. The binder presents a three-dimensional network body with a multi-branch structure, provides more active cites for contacting with the electrode active materials, improves uniformity and flatness in the formation of films from electrode slurry, enhances the binding strength between the electrode active materials, the conductive agents and the current collector, has high elasticity and binding strength, and is applicable in water/organic solvent. Use of the binder in positive electrodes and negative electrodes can facilitate the conduction of electrons/ions during charging and discharging, reduce the electrochemical interface impedance of the electrodes.

摘要： The present invention provides a biomimetic polymer for stabilizing wellbore, a method for preparation of the biomimetic polymer, and a drilling fluid. The polymer contains carboxymethyl chitosan that serves as a backbone and dopamine-derived groups grafted on the backbone. The polymer provided in the present invention can improve the strength of shale in the wellbore, seal the shale pores and reduce the filter loss of drilling fluid, and thereby attains an effect of stabilizing the wellbore in shale formation in drilling process.

摘要： Provided is expandable starch beads including a starch-monomer copolymer and a foaming agent impregnated in the starch-monomer copolymer, in which the starch-monomer copolymer is prepared by bonding at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of styrene, α-methylstyrene, lactide, lactic acid, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, acrylic ester, methacrylic ester, acrylonitrile, acrylamide, and caprolactone to starch, and the foaming agent includes at least one selected from the group consisting of C2 to C7 aliphatic hydrocarbon, C2 to C7 halogenated hydrocarbon, and carbon dioxide. Since the expandable starch beads have the similar properties to expandable polystyrene beads, and thereby can be foam-molded by equipment for foaming the expandable polystyrene beads, it is possible to produce foams with various sizes and various shapes.

Kits containing a plurality of the compositions may include compositions having different colorants. The compositions and/or kits may be used with a play structure that includes a base and a closed perimeter extending outwardly from the base. The structure may include a plurality of discrete regions, and may collectively resemble an object, scene or other image. Upon placement of a small quantity of the composition into a particular region and addition of water to the quantity, the composition swells, expands and generally conforms to the shape of the region.
