摘要： Embodiments of the invention provide roofing boards and roofing systems having improved fire resistance properties and methods related to the same. According to one aspect, a roofing system is provided. The roofing system includes roofing panels positioned atop structural support members to form a roof deck. Roofing boards are positioned atop the roof deck and coupled thereto and a roofing membrane is positioned atop the roofing boards and coupled therewith. The roofing boards include a coating of a mineral based material applied to one or more surfaces in an amount between the range of about 0.10 lbs/ft2 and about 0.70 lbs/ft2. The mineral based material coating enables the roofing boards to pass the UL 790 class A tests, such as the burning brand test.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a modular structural and electrical building system. The system includes first and second structural support members. In use, the second end of the first structural support member is adjacent the first end of the second structural support member. The system further includes at least one conductor bar secured to each of the structural members. In addition, the system utilizes conductor bar connectors for maintaining electrical connectivity from one conductor bar to the next on the same structural support member and a power drop connector for connecting electrical power carried by the conductor bar to various pieces of equipment. In addition, a jump cable provides a bridge for electrical power from the conductor bar on the first structural member to the conductor bar secured to an adjacent structural member.

摘要： This invention provides fall protection systems, in metal building construction, and methods of installing such systems. A given such system comprises a suspension fabric, supported by a grid-work of longitudinal and lateral support bands. The distance of the safety band from the rafter corresponds to about 40 percent to about 75 percent of the diameter of the bag. Thus for a 30-inch diameter bag, the distance between the edge of the rafter and the middle of the safety band is about 12 inches to about 23 inches. The safety band protects the suspension fabric from being cut by the near edge of the rafter when a falling object impacts the fall protection system near the edge of the rafter.

The 3D contact scanner includes a tactile sensor system having at least one tactile sensor for generating 3D data points based on tactile feedback resulting from physical contact with at least part of the structure. A 3D model is constructed from the 3D data and is then analyzed to determine the condition of the structure.

摘要： The panel includes a water resistant barrier layer secured atop its outward facing surface. The water resistant barrier layer includes a skid resistant surface. The panels are made of lignocellulosic material. The water resistant and skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners. A method for manufacturing the water resistant building panels is also disclosed and includes the steps of feeding paper onto a forming belt, depositing lignocellulosic material and the binding agent onto the forming belt so as to form a lignocellulosic mat, applying heat and pressure so as to impart the skid resistant surface on the paper, and cutting panels to predetermined sizes.

摘要： A protective vent line cap for protecting sanitary plumbing vent lines is described. The vent line cap includes an open bottom conically flared shroud that attaches to the vent line using a mounting strap having an adjustable strap clamp fastener and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is fastened at its top to the shroud and at the bottom to the strap clamp. The vent line cap is designed to be easily installed and removed using common hand tools. The vent line cap prevents foreign material from entering the vent line and subjacent plumbing while still allowing air to flow from the vent line as well as preventing rain water from entering sewer system.

摘要： A multi-element panel system configured for attachment to a mounting surface includes at least two panels. The panels each have an upper portion oriented upward and a lower portion oriented downward, relative to the mounting surface. A plurality of faces are formed on the panels and a plurality of keyways are formed between the faces. The keyways are recessed toward the mounting surface from the faces. The panels have a water trough, which has a planar intersection with the faces, formed on an exterior side of the upper portion, and a water channel extending between the upper and lower portions of one side of the panel. The panels have a side lap extending between the upper and lower portions on the opposite side of the panel from the water channel. The side lap of one of the panels overlaps the water channel of another, horizontally adjacent, panel.
