The standing seam clamps may include detents in the sides of their clamp bodies that allow a solar panel clamp to secure to the clamp body without threaded fasteners. The standing seam clamp may be optionally structured to secure both rail-less and rail-base solar panel racking systems.

摘要： The present invention relates to a clamp assembly for securing a variety of equipment. The clamp assembly comprises a top portion, a bottom portion, a first side and a second side. The top portion comprises a first surface and a second surface separated by a first channel that is configured to receive an accessory. The bottom portion has a cavity for mounting the clamp assembly on a structure. The first side comprises a first securing hole and a second securing hole, each configured to receive a first securing means and a second securing means. 摘要： Building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems provide for solar panel arrays that can be aesthetically pleasing and appear seamless to an observer. BIPV systems can be incorporated as part of roof surfaces as built into the structure of the roof, flush or forming a substantively uniform plane with roof panels or other panels mimicking a solar panel appearance. Pans supporting BIPV solar panels can be coupled by standing seams, in both lateral and longitudinal directions, to other photovoltaic-supporting pans or pans supporting non-photovoltaic structures, having both functional and aesthetic advantages. In some configurations, the appearance of BIPV systems can be particularly aesthetically pleasing and generally seamless to an observer.

摘要： A standing seam roof assembly in which adjacent roof panels are supported by underlying support structure in overlapping edge relationship to form a standing seam between adjacent roof panels is disclosed. A first roof panel having a female sidelap portion forms a male insertion cavity and a second roof panel having a male sidelap portion is inserted into the male insertion cavity to form the standing seam assembly. The standing seam assembly prevents unfurling of the first and second roof panels by forming force couples that resist forces due to uplift of the first and second panels. A mastic material is compressed between portions of the female and male sidelap portions, thereby forming a weathertight seal.
