    • An overhang falsework for supporting a debris shield on an outward side of an I-beam used in an overhead frame structure comprises an elongated base member extending in a longitudinal direction transverse to the I-beam between an inner end and an outer end wherein said outer end is on the outward side of the I-beam. The falsework further includes a clamp connected to the member between the inner and outer ends for selectively securing the falsework to the I-beam in an installed condition on the I-beam. The base member has a multi-component construction including a metal component extending between the inner and outer ends and a non-metal or wooden component extending at least partially between the inner and outer ends which is secured to the metal component. The non-metal or wooden layer provides a medium for nailing or screwing a horizontal panel portion or base sheet of the debris shield to the falsework, and the metal layer provides support. The falsework further includes an upwardly extending member that is selectively interengageable with the base member. The upward member supporting a side sheet of the debris shield.

    • A structural supporting system for the use as a temporary support in concrete overhang falsework construction and for the use as a support in concrete slab falsework truss construction and the like is disclosed. The structural supporting system includes a series of support beams and a plurality of support brackets positioned along the length of the support beam. A support bracket is provided at the opposite ends of the support beam for the suspended support of the support bracket as to increase or reduce the span of the support beams, as desired. Suspended support can be on one end of the support beam or on both ends of the support beam, as desired. A series of cooperating brackets can be positioned intermediate to the support brackets for the support of one support bracket in the concrete overhang falsework construction. A series of cooperating brackets can be positioned intermediate to the support brackets for the support of two support brackets in the concrete slab falsework truss construction. The support bracket or brackets include adjustable upper and lower opposing gripping surfaces for engaging corresponding upper and lower surfaces of the support beam, in adjustable mounting relationship thereto. The brackets include an integral attachment pin to secure the support beams to the support bracket for attachment of the support bracket to a fastener suspended from the concrete overhang form construction and the concrete slab falsework truss construction.

    • An adjustable brace for supporting an elevated concrete form floor between support beams during the curing of the concrete is provided. The adjustable brace is formed from a single leg pivotably attached to a cradle assembly for supporting half of a shoring member underneath a concrete form floor against the adjacent lower web/flange interface of a support beam. The height of the cradle assembly can be adjusted relative to the leg for raising and lowering the shoring member to enable leveling of the form floor and disassembly of the brace after the concrete has cured. In use, two braces are used to support a shoring member, with the cradle of each brace positioned between the center and an end of the shoring member and the foot of each brace positioned against the web/flange interface of the support beam opposite the support beam against which the foot of the other brace is positioned.

    • An apparatus is disclosed for use in suspended ceilings. The apparatus is useful in leveling suspended ceilings while concurrently attaching them to supporting structures. The apparatus has an L-shaped connection piece having at least one opening in the base thereof, a swivel flange having at least one opening therein and partially enclosed at the bottom thereof by a clip for spacing apart an inverted-T runner and a flange while attaching the flange to the inverted-T runner, and a connector connecting the connection piece and flange through an opening therein. The connection piece and flange can be adjusted through the connector in order to adjust the location of a ceiling suspended by the inverted-T runner.
