摘要： An energy conversion apparatus may include an engine assembly, such as a monolithic engine assembly. The engine assembly may include a first monolithic body segment and a plurality of second monolithic body segments directly coupled or directly couplable to the first monolithic body segment. The first monolithic body segment may define a combustion chamber and a recirculation pathway in fluid communication with the combustion chamber. The recirculation pathway may be configured to recirculate combustion gas through the combustion chamber. The plurality of second monolithic body segments may respectively define at least a portion of a piston chamber and a plurality of working-fluid pathways fluidly communicating with the piston chamber.

摘要： A Stirling cycle machine with a liquid fuel/gaseous fuel burner. The burner may include a preheater to capture the thermal energy of the exhaust. The burner directs the preheated air to each burner head, where it enters a prechamber. Each burner head includes a fuel nozzle that directs liquid or gaseous fuel into the prechamber. The prechamber is fluidically connected to a combustion chamber via a prechamber nozzle that has a smaller opening than the prechamber. The burner head ignites the fuel air mixture in the prechamber with an ignitor located above or within the prechamber. The flame is initially lit as a diffusion flame in the prechamber. The flame is pushed out of the prechamber into the combustion chamber by an increased air flow rate. The liquid fuel from the nozzle now evaporates in the prechamber and forms a prevaporized flame in the combustion chamber.

摘要： The disclosure provides a vibration isolation structure for linear oscillating motor and Stirling engine, wherein the said vibration isolation structure comprises a first vibration isolation device and a second vibration isolation device. The first vibration isolation device is set between the fixed hood and the housing of the linear oscillating motor to attenuate the high-frequency and small-amplitude vibrations from the linear oscillating motor. The first vibration isolation device comprises a first set of tension springs and a second set of tension springs, and a lateral gap is formed between the fixed hood and the linear oscillating motor. The second vibration isolation device is set in the said lateral gap to attenuate the low-frequency and large-amplitude vibrations from the linear oscillating motor. The second vibration isolation device comprises at least two sets of position-limiting protrusions and position-limiting blocks, and the position-limiting protrusion and position-limiting block are set in a match at the linear oscillating motor and the fixed hood respectively or reversely. Also disclosed is a Stirling engine assembled with a linear oscillating motor that comprising with an aforementioned vibration isolation structure. The vibration isolation structure improves the stability of the reciprocating linear oscillating motor and the Stirling engine, and reduces mechanical vibrations and noises.

摘要： A constant density heat exchanger and system for energy conversion is provided. The constant density heat exchanger includes a housing extending between a first end and a second end and defining a chamber having an inlet and an outlet. A first flow control device is positioned at the inlet of the chamber and movable between an open position in which a working fluid is permitted into the chamber and a closed position in which the working fluid is prevented from entering the chamber. A second flow control device is positioned at the outlet of the chamber and movable between an open position in which the working fluid is permitted to exit the chamber and a closed position in which the working fluid is prevented from exiting the chamber. A heat exchange fluid imparts thermal energy to the volume of working fluid as the first flow control device and the second flow control device hold the volume of working fluid at constant density within the chamber.

摘要： An apparatus for exchanging heat with a fluid includes a heat exchanger having first and second opposing surfaces and a plurality of flow passages permitting axial fluid flow between the surfaces. A manifold having an interface surface is in thermal contact with the first surface and includes a thermally conductive body for conducting heat in an axial direction between the interface surface and a heat transmitting surface. A plurality of feed passages extend through the thermally conductive body in a transverse direction, the passages having an inlet for receiving or discharging fluid. A plurality of distribution passages have ends in fluid communication with at least one of the feed passages and openings distributed over the interface surface. The distribution passages are configured to cause a change in fluid flow direction between a transversely directed flow in the feed passages and an axially directed flow at the openings.

摘要： The present invention relates to a heat engine having shafts with gears, position gears and a plurality of actuators. Energy is harnessed from the first shaft as it rotates. The second shaft can be coupled to the first shaft to transfer energy from the second shaft to the first shaft. One coupler is a chain. Position gears orient the chain wherein the rotation of the second shaft is inverted upon the first shaft so that the first shaft has a constant rotational orientation. Each actuator is preferably a double acting actuator that can supply force to both push and pull upon a belt connected to the actuator rod. A 1-way clutch and gear connects the belt to each shaft wherein the belt (driven by actuator) imparts a positive force upon the first shaft on the out stroke and a positive force upon the second shaft on the return stroke.
