    • A telescopic shaft is provided. The telescopic shaft includes a first shaft including a first coupler having an inner circumferential surface including an external straight groove and an external inclination groove formed thereon, the external straight groove having a semi-circular cross section and being formed in parallel to a rotation axis and the external inclination groove having a semi-circular cross section, being inclined with respect to the external straight groove at a predetermined angle, and being shaped like a spiral, a second shaft including a second coupler inserted into the first coupler and having an outer circumferential surface including an internal straight groove and an internal inclination groove formed thereon, the internal straight groove having a semi-circular cross section and corresponding to the external straight groove and the internal inclination groove having a semi-circular cross section, being inclined in an opposite direction to the external inclination groove at a predetermined angle with respect to the internal straight groove, and being shaped like a spiral, and a plurality of balls arranged in a line in an axial direction between the external straight groove and the internal straight groove, one ball being arranged between the external inclination groove and the internal inclination groove, wherein the first shaft and the second shaft are coupled to extend and retract in an axial direction, thereby preventing play from occurring in a circumferential direction and preventing separation of balls.

    • A CV joint for a downhole drilling motor includes a center shaft including a top shaft section and a bottom shaft section. The top shaft section is at least partially housed within a cavity of a first insert, which is housed within a cavity of a rotor adapter. The bottom shaft section is at least partially housed within a cavity of a second insert, which is housed within a cavity of a drive shaft adapter. An outer surface of the top and bottom shaft sections may include multiple top shaft pockets and multiple bottom shaft pockets, respectively. The first and second inserts may each include a series of recesses. Top shear members may be partially housed within the top shaft pockets and the recesses of the first insert. Bottom shear members may be partially housed within the bottom shaft pockets and the recesses of the second insert.

    • The present invention provides a light and compact slide-type constant velocity universal joint that can have a maximum operating angle of 30° or more through optimization of a ball contact angle relative to ball grooves, a ball contact ratio, and a cage offset amount. In the slide-type constant velocity universal joint, a ratio of ball diameter to outer ring outer diameter is 0.21 to 0.25, a ratio of ball pitch diameter to outer ring outer diameter is 0.64 to 0.68, a contact angle of the ball groove is 30° to 35°, a contact ratio of the ball groove is 1.02 to 1.08, and a ratio of cage offset amount to ball pitch diameter is 0.07 to 0.09.

    • A torque transfer device, such as a transfer case for a motor vehicle, having a constant velocity joint integrated therewith is disclosed. In one embodiment, the constant velocity joint includes an outer race rotatably mounted within the torque transfer device and an inner race positioned within the outer race and operatively connected to the outer race by one or more torque transmitting balls.     • A device for elastic interconnection of two rotatable shafts consisting of a first sleeve intended to be connected to a first shaft end. A number of elastically deformable spherical elements are arranged in opposing recesses in said second sleeve and cylindrical portion and distributed around a shaft end. The recesses in the cylindrical portion are arranged in the end surfaces of plugs and provided with external threads. The plugs by being turned are displaceable in threaded bores provided radially in the wall of the cylindrical part. The outer end surfaces of the plugs are provided with diametrical grooves and the cylindrical portion is provided with a diametrical groove. The diametrical grooves and the peripheral grooves define an annular groove. A locking ring is disposed in the annular groove to lock all the plugs in a desired position.
