摘要： A gas-delayed blowback firearm includes a lower receiver and an upper receiver releasably coupled thereto. A barrel having a cartridge chamber, an axial bore, and a barrel gas port is secured to the upper receiver. A bolt assembly in the upper receiver reciprocates between a forward in-battery position and a rearward position. A timing block is secured to the bolt assembly. A cylinder housing with an internal gas chamber and a cylinder gas port is secured to the upper receiver. A gas passageway fluidly communicates the barrel gas port with the cylinder gas port. A plunger in the gas chamber is secured to the timing block. The plunger reciprocates with the bolt assembly. Discharge of a cartridge received in the cartridge chamber temporarily pressurizes the gas chamber, applying a forward force to the plunger which causes the plunger to delay rearward travel of the bolt assembly.

摘要： An automatic pistol essentially consists of an immovable barrel, a breech with a firing pin and a cartridge extractor, a breech frame, a spring-loaded device for the removal of gas with a gas piston and a gas cylinder, a firing mechanism and a magazine. The barrel is fitted with an end piece, which is located in the lower part of the rear end of the barrel. The design of the breech allows for the displacement of its front part downwards, when the breech is in its front end position. The front part of the breech is fitted with side locking lugs. The corresponding locking grooves are located in the cavities on the end piece of the barrel. The gas piston has an opening for ejecting the cartridge casing. In the course of the backward movement, the gas piston unlocks the breech and draws it back. In the forward movement, the breech is carried forward and pushed downwards. The gas cylinder is located at the front part of the barrel and encompasses the barrel. Along the length of the barrel gas ducts are fixed.

摘要： An automatic machine pistol is provided, which is not subject to fouling, which is compact and light while incorporating a pneumatic recoil buffer, which resists muzzle climb, and which can be accessed and cleaned without disassembly. The machine pistol is comprised of a reciprocating bolt within a housing of the pistol. The reciprocating bolt is carried within the housing on four rails by eight roller bearings. No sliding contact is made between the bolt and any other portion of the pistol. A portion of the high pressure gas from the barrel is bled through a bleed hole in the barrel block or barrel into a gas port tube which is telescopically inserted into the bolt. The gas port tube delivers the portion of the discharge gas in a forward direction in opposition to the motion on recoil. An upwardly directed nozzle is communicated to the receiving bore within the bolt. The direction and force of the discharge gas within the gas port delivery tube and receiving bore within the bolt resist and buffers recoil, while the upwardly directed nozzle develops a downward thrust on the muzzle end of the pistol to avoid muzzle climb.

摘要： A damping assembly for a firearm is provided. The damping assembly includes at least a gas piston and a recoil spring, which may be arranged coaxially or in parallel. The gas piston is disposed within a gas tube which has access to the bore of the firearm through a gas inlet. Pressurized gas from the bore can enter the gas tube via the inlet and push against the gas piston, which can dampen the cycle rate of the firearm.

摘要： A riot weapon comprises a barrel; a fixed breech block; and therebetween a chamber having a loading aperture through which a round of ammunition can be inserted so as to rest against the breech block, or ejected; a loading catch for retaining a round of ammunition in the chamber; a trigger; a firing pin which can be actuated to fire a round of ammunition by moving the trigger, the firing pin having a normal rest position in the breech block; means for preventing release of the loading catch except when the firing pin is in the rest position; means for releasing the loading catch automatically following actuation of the trigger; and means for exerting a force on the round of ammunition in a direction such as to effect ejection thereof through the loading aperture; whereby following firing of a round of ammunition and consequent release of the loading catch, the spent round is retained in place against the ejecting force solely by the frictional force between the spent round and the breech block, the frictional force resulting solely from the residual pressure of gases generated by firing, which transiently load the spent round against the breech block.
