    • The invention relates to a raiser (2) for skidpan practice with motorcycle, comprising a supporting portion (3) with support wheels (5a-c) and a raising portion (6). The raising portion (6) is attachable to the front wheel of the motorcycle in such a way that it allows the front wheel to rotate around a first rotational axis. The raising portion is raisable and lowerable with respect to the supporting portion. The raising portion is rotatable around a second axis of rotation that essentially extends in the direction of motion of the front wheel, allowing the raiser to be used with motorcycles as they lean sideways in curves. In one embodiment, the second axis of rotation of the raiser is arranged below the upper end of the supporting wheels or below the rotational axes of the supporting wheels. This may for example be achieved if the supporting portion (3) is constituted by a supporting frame (3) receiving the front wheel and if the support wheels (5a-c) are mounted on support wheel carriers (11a-c) that extend upwards above the supporting frame (3). The invention further relates to a device for skidpan practice with a motorcycle, comprising a pair of supports (12a-b) that prevents the motorcycle from falling over, and such a raiser (2).

    • An exercise device is furnished with an electronic display or a mechanical belt for simulating road conditions. In an embodiment utilizing an electronic display, sensors are used to sense pedaling speed, rotational direction, and displacement of the handlebars. A brake handle producing a signal when actuated is also provided. The signals produced by the sensors are processed by a microprocessor for controlling the lateral position of the exercise bicycle with respect to the scene being displayed and the running speed of the road condition simulation. The microprocessor includes a memory which stores a program for controlling the pedaling resistance of the exercise device. In another embodiment, a belt provided with flat patterns on its surface depicting mock road conditions rotates. The user may control the position of a mock vehicle resting on the belt surface by manipulating the handlebars. The mock vehicle is coupled to the handlebar stem by a right-angle-shaped rod. Pedaling resistance is provided by coupling a multi-pole A.C. induction motor to the pedals.
