摘要： Remote compensators for mobile devices are provided. In certain embodiments, a remote compensator includes a first balun, a cable-side circulator including an output that provides a transmit signal and an input that receives an amplified receive signal, a first phase shifter, a second phase shifter, a first antenna-side circulator, a second antenna-side circulator, a push-pull amplifier, and a receive amplifier that generates the amplified receive signal by amplifying a first receive signal from the first antenna-side circulator and a second receive signal from the second antenna-side circulator. The push-pull amplifier includes an input that receives the transmit signal, a first output connected to a first end of a winding of the first balun through the first antenna-side circulator and the first phase shifter, and a second output connected to a second end of the winding of the first balun through the second phase shifter and the second antenna-side circulator.

摘要： Radiofrequency and other electronic devices can be formed from textured hexaferrite materials, such as Z-phase barium cobalt ferrite Ba3Co2Fe24O41 (Co2Z) having enhanced resonant frequency. The textured hexaferrite material can be formed by sintering fine grain hexaferrite powder at a lower temperature than conventional firing temperatures to inhibit reduction of iron. The textured hexaferrite material can be used in radiofrequency devices such as circulators or telecommunications systems.

摘要： A non-reciprocal mode converting SIW includes a first straight SIW section, a second straight SIW section, and a curved SIW section coupling the first straight SIW section to the second straight SIW section. The curved SIW section included magnetic biasing at opposed corner regions. The magnetic biasing and a curvature of the curved SIW section causes: (i) a wave in a first transverse electric (TE) mode that propagates in a forward direction from the first straight section through the curved SIW section into the second straight SIW section to convert to a second TE mode, and (ii) a wave in the first TE mode that propagates in a reverse direction from the second straight SIW section through the curved SIW section into the first straight SIW section to maintain the first TE mode.

摘要： In accordance with some embodiments, non-reciprocal circulators are provided, the circulators comprising: a 3λX/4-long ring section having a first end and a second end, wherein λ is an operating wavelength of the non-reciprocal circulator; and a N-path filter having a first port, a second port, and N-paths, each of the N-paths being connected to the first port and the second port. In some of these embodiments, the 3λ/4-long ring section includes a transmit port, an antenna port, and a receive port. In some of these embodiments, the transmit port is λ/4 away from the antenna port. In some of these embodiments, the antenna port is λ/4 away from the receive port. In some of these embodiments, the receive port is at the first port of the N-path filter.

摘要： Remote compensators for mobile devices are provided. In certain embodiments, a mobile device includes a cable-side circulator, an antenna, receive amplifier circuitry that amplifies a receive signal from the antenna and provides an amplified receive signal to the cable-side circulator, transmit amplifier circuitry that amplifies a transmit signal from the cable-side circulator, and a first antenna-side circulator and a second antenna-side circulator each coupled between the transmit amplifier circuitry and the antenna. The first antenna-side circulator and the second antenna-side circulator operate to compensate the receive signal for transmit leakage arising from the transmit amplifier circuitry.
