摘要： An internal support bracket for a power switch includes a bottom support and a top cover. The top cover is secured to the bottom support. The combined bottom support and top cover define an aperture for securing the power switch. The bottom support includes a bottom surface with a ridge protruding therefrom. A method of securing a power switch to the interior of a computer chassis includes connecting a base support including a channel to an interior wall of the computer chassis. A power switch is positioned between a top cover and a separate bottom support. The separate bottom support includes a ridge protruding from a bottom surface. The top cover is secured to the separate bottom support. The ridge of the separate bottom support is slid into the channel such that the internal support bracket including the power switch is secured in a locked position.

摘要： Provided is an electric conduction system and a male terminal that prevent arc discharge by cutting off power supply prior to the occurrence of arc discharge. The male terminal is connected to the female terminal of the electric conduction apparatus, and power is supplied from the electric conduction apparatus. The male terminal includes a first resistance portion having a resistance value R1 on its rear-end side and a second resistance portion having a resistance value R2 on its front-end side. Accordingly, the resistance value of the power supply path varies depending on the amount the male terminal is inserted into the female terminal. By determining whether the electric current amount varies in accordance with a change in the resistance value of the power supply path, the electric conduction apparatus can cut off power supply prior to the male terminal coming off the female terminal, thus preventing an arc discharge.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a housing having contact channels with electrical contacts received therein each having a poke-in spring beam configured to engage an electrical wire when poked-in to the housing. The electrical contact is movable between a resting position when no wire is present in the wire channel and a clearance position where the electrical contact allows the electrical wire to be removed from the wire channel. Pivot levers are held by the housing and are coupled to corresponding electrical contacts with a pivot end pivotably coupled to the housing and a push button end having a push button pressed to move the corresponding electrical contact to the clearance position. When the electrical wire is loaded into the wire channel, the electrical contact is positioned in a pinching position in which the spring beam pinches against the electrical wire in physical contact with the electrical wire.

摘要： An enclosure which supports a standard receptacle for receiving a standard plug and a handle which can be positioned to a first position or a second position is provided. The handle, when in the first position, blocks the removal or insertion of the plug into the receptacle. In the fist position, the receptacle can be selectively connected by a user to a source of power. When the handle is in the second position, the plug can be removed or inserted into the receptacle and the receptacle is prevented from being connected to the source of power. The apparatus includes a receptacle, a switch for turning power to the receptacle on or off, a member coupled to the housing and having a first position which prevents the plug from being inserted into or removed from the receptacle and a second position which allows the plug to be inserted into or removed from the receptacle, and a connector coupled to the member and to the switch to enable the switch to connect the receptacle to a source of power when the member is in the first position. The apparatus also includes a housing for containing the receptacle and mounting lugs for mounting the apparatus.
