摘要： The current invention, by using a plurality of conductive fiber brush bundles and a coaxial line to transfer RF signal(s) between relatively rotatable objects, creates easy-maintenance, long duration a RF rotary joint with soft contacting rotational interfaces. It consists of a stationary shield conductor assembly, a stationary core conductor assembly, a rotational shield conductor assembly with a tapered round head, a rotational core conductor assembly with a tapered round head, and rotational and stationary insulating assemblies with a central bore. Both stationary and rotational shield conductor assemblies having a conductive fiber brush bundle, which further containing a plurality of hair-thin conductive filaments to form a symmetrical flexible tube. The interfaces of the core soft contacting rotational and the shield soft contacting rotational are formed between the free end portions of the conductive fiber brush bundles and the tapered round head of the rotational cone conductor and rotational shield conductor respectively.

The brush is formed by bending from a bottom shield sheet. 摘要： Each of the two brush leafs of an electric motor comprises a first resiliently flexible conductive section, attached to a terminal, and an additional resiliently flexible section extending an acute angle to the first section. The first and second ends of the first section are disposed on opposite sides of a contact portion of the additional section which engages a commutator forming part of the motor. It is therefore possible to increase the length of the first section to thereby provide robust brush leafs which are nevertheless capable of flexing sufficiently to accommodate discrepancies in the mounting of the brush leaf means and in concentricity of the commutator.

摘要： An electric motor has a can-like casing and an end cap. Brushgear is mounted on a frame prior to insertion into the motor. The frame holds the brushes of the brush gear away from a commutator of the motor by means of resilient arms which engage the brush gear. As the frame is inserted into the motor the arms come against a post which bends the arms to disengage them from the brush arms so that the brushes settle onto the commutator.

摘要： A brush holder assembly for electrically-coupling relatively movable conductors comprises a brush holder having a cavity which slidably receives a brush and having a pair of shoulders located on opposite sides of the cavity to confront a conductor. An electrically-conductive twin coil spring is mounted in the cavity with its saddle portion engaging one end of the brush and its coils disposed adjacent the shoulders for biasing the other end of the brush into contact with the conductor. An electrical contact member is interposed between at least one of the shoulders and its engaged spring coil to provide a current path into the side of the brush adjacent the coil for improving the overall performance of the brush assembly.
