摘要： An ignition coil includes a coil main body portion, a conductive member, and a protective portion. The coil main body portion generates a high voltage. The conductive member electrically connects the coil main body portion and a terminal metal fitting of a spark plug. The conductive member is arranged inside the protective portion. The protective portion has an electrically insulating property. The conductive member includes an elastic portion that elastically deforms in a longitudinal direction of the conductive member, and a conductive terminal that is arranged on a distal end side of the elastic portion. The conductive terminal has a distal end surface that includes a concave surface or a convex surface that abuts on the terminal metal fitting of the spark plug. A contact portion between the concave surface or the convex surface and the terminal metal fitting of the spark plug has an annular shape.

摘要： An engine ignition coil assembly disclosed herein provides an ignition coil housing that may be mounted on an engine block assembly and that is isolated from engine vibrations. The engine ignition coil assembly comprises an ignition coil housing. The ignition coil housing contains an ignition coil apparatus. An electrical connector for the ignition coil apparatus is mounted to the ignition coil housing. An elastomeric boot supports the ignition coil housing and may be disposed on an engine block assembly such that ignition coil housing is spaced apart from the engine block assembly by the elastomeric boot. A single fastener extends through a fastener opening in the ignition coil housing parallel with the elastomeric boot. An elastomeric isolator is disposed on the ignition coil housing at the fastener opening around the single fastener. A proximal end of the single fastener may be fixed to the engine block assembly.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a spark plug for engines. The spark plug includes a center electrode and a ground electrode that includes a center void and a ground void respectively. An initial spark gap is formed between the center electrode and the ground electrode. A center electrode initial surface is disposed between the center void and the spark gap and a ground electrode initial surface is disposed between the ground void and the spark gap. The center void and ground void can become exposed through wear of the center electrode initial surface and ground electrode initial surface respectively. When the wear breaches center electrode initial surface and the ground electrode initial surface the wear creates a center first concentration edge and a ground first concentration edge that focus an electrical field and reduces the voltage required for fuel breakdown.

摘要： An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine includes a coil main body portion, a connecting portion, and a conducting member. A convex surface forming portion, which is a portion constituting an inner peripheral convex surface, is disposed in the connecting portion. The convex surface forming portion has an outer peripheral concave surface. The connecting portion has a boundary portion which is a boundary between the convex surface forming portion and other portions in the axial direction. In the convex surface forming portion, at least a part of a region where the outer peripheral concave surface is formed has a portion having an area, in a cross-section orthogonal to the axial direction, equal to or smaller than that of the boundary portion. A thickness of the convex surface forming portion is equal to or thicker than that of the boundary portion.
