摘要： This autoinjector has a proximal end and a longitudinal axis A, and a housing configured to receive a medical container having a barrel defining a reservoir for containing a medical product, said barrel having a distal end provided with a needle and an opened proximal end configured to receive a plunger rod for pushing a stopper arranged inside the barrel. A needle cover is coupled to and movable with respect to said housing between a first extended position, a retracted position, and a second extended position wherein the needle cover moves back in the distal direction to shield the needle. An injection mechanism moves the plunger rod distally inside the barrel in order to expel the medical product contained inside the barrel. A holder is movable with respect to the housing between a passive position wherein the holder does not trigger the injection mechanism and an active position wherein the holder triggers the injection mechanism. A locker is coupled to the holder, the locker being movable with regard to the housing between a locking position, wherein the locker prevents the holder from moving to the activated position, and an unlocking position, wherein the locker rotates around the longitudinal axis A, thereby allowing the holder to move to the activated position, rotation of the locker from the locking to the unlocking position being caused by the needle cover moving towards the retracted position.

The autoinjector also includes a needle cover coupled to and movable with respect to said housing between a first extended position, a retracted position, and a second extended position, an injection mechanism configured to move the plunger rod distally inside the barrel in order to expel the medical product contained inside the barrel, and a holder movable with respect to the housing between a passive position wherein the holder does not trigger the injection mechanism and an active position wherein the holder triggers the injection mechanism. A locker is coupled to the holder and is movable with regard to the housing between a locking position, thereby preventing the holder from moving to the activated position, and an unlocking position, allowing the holder to move to the activated position. Protective means are configured to prevent the locker from inadvertently damaging and passing by the first abutment surface if the autoinjector falls down onto a floor, proximal end first.

摘要： An injection device assembly including a housing, a syringe, a drive mechanism and one or more sensing systems are described. The drive mechanism advances the syringe from a storage position to an injection position, and a plunger advances the syringe piston from an initial position to a final position. The status sensing system may include one or more main PCB(s) disposed in an end portion of the injection device assembly's housing. The system may determine various parameters related to an operational status of the injection device, including the location of the device's components, an amount of medication remaining in the device, a temperature of the medication, and whether or not the device is properly contacting the user's skin before injection. The system may communicate such determined parameters to an external device via a wireless communication link.

摘要： A data collection device for attachment to an injection device, such as an injector pen, includes a sensor arrangement to detect movement of a movable component of the injection device relative to the data collection device during delivery of a medicament by the injection device, and a processor arrangement configured to, based on said detected movement, determine a medicament dosage administered by the injection device. The processor arrangement may monitor the time that has elapsed since the medicament dosage was administered, and control a display to show the mediacament dosage and elapsed time to provide a memory aid to the user. In an example embodiment, the sensor arrangement includes an optical encoder and the movable component includes a plurality of light barrier formations. The movable component may be a number sleeve that provides a visual indication of a dose programmed into the injection device.

摘要： Fluid injection devices and related systems and operating methods are provided. An exemplary injection device includes an actuation arrangement to facilitate delivering fluid from a container, a user interface element coupled to the actuation arrangement, a data storage element to maintain one or more patient-specific parameter values and historical bolus data, and a control module coupled to the actuation arrangement and the data storage element. The control module of the injection device determines a bolus amount of the fluid to be delivered based at least in part on the one or more patient-specific parameter values and the historical bolus data in response to receiving a user input indicative of a desire to administer a bolus, and the control module configures the actuation arrangement to automatically deliver the bolus amount in response to manual actuation of the user interface element.
