摘要： Methods of making, and the resultant monolithic drum shell for a musical instrument, that include selecting one or more desired wood fibers, providing a resinous binder solution, and immersing the wood fibers within the resinous binder solution for a duration that saturates and covers the wood fibers with the resinous binder solution to form a drum shell liquid composition. The drum shell liquid composition is deposited into a mold, and then cured to form a monolithic composite drum shell. The monolithic composite drum shell is removed from the mold to provide a ready-to-use drum shell for assembling into a musical instrument.

摘要： A method of manufacturing crop straw fiber board includes the following steps: (1) mashing and choosing the straws with the length of 10-40 mm and the moisture content of 20%-30% as raw materials; (2) sending the raw materials into a digester (5) to digest and soften the straws; (3) sending the raw materials into a defiberator (7) and grinding to obtain straw fibers; (4) sending the straw fibers into a liquid applying system to mix with the adhesive, then drying with hot wind; (5) paving the straw fibers, then pre-pressing to obtain a plate blank with the thickness of 30-180 mm; (6) sending the plate blank into No. 1 hot press (8) to dehydrate; (7) sending the plate blank to No. 2 hot press (9) to adhere the plate blank; (8) sending the plate blank to No. 3 cold press (10) to shape the plate blank; (9) trimming and sanding the plate blank to obtain the fiberboard. Any crop straws could be used for the method.

摘要： An improved laminated bat is presented using a wood inner core that maintains a constant “feel” to the bat when a ball is struck. The use of a wood inner core further ensure consent thermal expansion and bending as the bat is used to impact a ball. Progressively narrower veneer sheets of wood are heated to bond thermoset glue on the inner core to approximate the finished contour of the bat. Veneer layers are also pressed onto the bat thereby providing a completely bonded bat with any air bubbles removed when the last layer of veneer is rolled onto the bat. This reduces the amount of post processing of the bat and results in a nearly finished shape when the veneer is applied. The overlapping wood grain increases the strength of the bat and eliminated inconsistencies with hitting a ball at a particular side of the bat.

摘要： A linear bamboo tape containing a series of adhesively connected bamboo sections wherein each section has a predetermined width and thickness. The tapes are made by splitting cut and dried bamboo culms to obtain bamboo sections, sizing the bamboo sections to the desired width and thickness, adhesively connecting the treated sections, and applying a binder having excellent holding properties. The bamboo tape is used to make cylindrical containers or load-bearing structures by treating the tape with a resin and applying the treated tape to a surface of a cylinder to form a strong, lightweight, inexpensive cylinder. A cosmetic surface can be applied to the formed cylinder. The binder/bamboo tape can also be applied to the outer surface of cylindrical forms and treated with polymers to form pipes and tubes.
