摘要： A labeling device includes a container transporter that conveys the containers along a conveyor path and a first conveyor that runs between the return-stations. The labeling stations are arranged along the conveyor path between the return-stations. The frame's frame ends lie at opposite ends of a longitudinal axis. Attachment-sections associated with the frame ends attach to respective return stations, with at least one of them permitting attachment of a return-station at multiple positions along the axis. These attach to the mounts, which have continuous mounting-elements extending between the return-stations along the longitudinal axis. The mounts enable mounting a labeling station in any position between the return-stations using an attachment element that is complementary to the mounts and with which the labeling stations are equipped.

摘要： This invention is drawn to an apparatus for applying labels to hosiery, specifically sock stacks. The sock stack travels along a first conveyor and are deposited onto a second conveyor. The second conveyor carries the sock stack to a pair of rotatable clamps. The clamps hold the sock stack and stretch it. A pneumatic cylinder moves the pair of clamps upwardly into contact with an adhesive label. The socks are rotated 360 degrees drawing the label onto the sock stack to band the same.

摘要： An apparatus is disclosed for successively applying hosiery or the like articles with a label having pressure sensitive adhesive applied to one side thereof. The label comprises a cut and scored blank of paperboard or the like which is divided into sub-panels for forming an article suspending upper hook portion and an article enveloping lower banding portion. The apparatus comprises means for sequentially separating the labels from a carrier web and means for forming, at two separate forming stations, the article suspending upper portions and the article enveloping lower portions of the labels. The operation of the apparatus is controlled by an operator who places hosiery or the like articles on a partially formed label at the second forming station. Upon removal of a banded pair of hosiery or the like from the machine, the apparatus is reactivated to deliver additional labels to the first and second forming stations.

摘要： Apparatus for applying labels bearing a pressure-sensitive adhesive to articles wherein each article is moved by a first pair of conveyor belts into engagement with a second pair of conveyor belts. The first and second pair of conveyor belts hold and move the articles. As the articles are moved, each article passes a sensor, such as an electric eye, which actuates label feeding means, thereby causing a label to be moved into the path of travel of the article. The leading edge of the moving article engages the label between the label ends and moves the label against a pair of spaced rollers. As the article is moved through the space between the rollers, the rollers press the leading end of the label and the center of the label against the bottom and top surface of the article, respectively. Thereafter, another sensor, such as an electric eye responds to the trailing edge of the moving article and activates a tucker which bends the trailing end of the label around the trailing edge and bottom of the article so that the trailing end of the label adheres to the bottom of the article and the leading end of the label. Subsequently, as the article moves through a space between a second pair of rollers, the rollers press the label against the bottom and top surface of the article and the overlapping ends of the label to each other, thereby securing the label to the article. The speeds of the first pair of conveyor belts, the second pair of conveyor belts, and the label feeding means are all independently adjustable.

摘要： A kit for creating stencils is provided, including a polymeric shell, multiple linear polymeric frames, multiple thermoplastic rubber polymeric alphanumeric stencil elements, a rolling ball marker, and a roll of markable web. The polymeric shell has a tray and a hingedly joined sealing top. The tray is generally rectangular with a peripheral sidewall and has a storage compartment each for the web roll, the stencil elements, the frames, and the marker. The sidewall adjacent the web roll compartment has an opening therethrough. The frames have an elongate central planar portion and a pair of parallel upraised crenellated sidewalls with stencil retention elements defined in the crenels. The frames also have mateable elements defined at each end to join the frames together. The stencil elements fit between the frame sidewalls and have elongate projections with stencil retention elements adapted to mate with the stencil retention elements defined in the frame crenels.

摘要： This disclosure provides methods, systems and devices that may be used to measure, calculate, and orient a device such as a drill bit in a downhole environment. To that end, disclosed are fiber optic gyroscopes, wherein the fiber optic gyroscopes comprise elliptical fiber optic cable coils in a mutually orthogonal arrangement that is tilted relative to a length of a supporting shaft, e.g., tube. Light travels in opposite directions within each of the elliptical fiber optic cable coils, and, subsequently, sensors detect differences in time for each light path of the light that traveled in opposite directions within each one of the elliptical fiber optic cable coils. The elliptical nature of the fiber optic cable coils minimizes the cross-sectional area of the mutually orthogonal arrangement, and thereby makes it well-suited for use in downhole environments where space is at a premium. This disclosure also may provide an inertial measurement unit.
