摘要： A compact retractable label assembly includes a flexible label tongue and a guide bracket for receiving the label tongue. The guide bracket is adapted to mount to the inside of an enclosure surface such that the label tongue may be pulled from a mouth of the bracket to the outside of the enclosure surface. The guide bracket has a curved profile so that the label tongue bends when it is pushed inside the enclosure. The bend in the excursion path of the label tongue preserves space inside the enclosure.

A biasing member may be provided for urging the wand assembly into the non-extended position, the second portion including a label pick-up opening at an end thereof. Application of a vacuum to the vacuum opening of the first portion causes the wand assembly to be placed in the extended position and termination of the vacuum causes the wand assembly to return to the non-extended position.

One substrate of a pair of substrates adjacent to each other is turned over thereby to face the other substrate, and the substrates held in a state facing each other are sent to a bonding position.
