A biasing mechanism is disposed in the housing and in contact with the bottom surface of the rear portion of the key plate to provide an upward force tuned to be substantially equal to the predetermined depression force.

When the pin applies a force to an electrically conductive and flexible region of an exterior housing of an electronic device the electrically conductive region deflects inwards coupling to a contact within the electronic device. 摘要： This application relates to various button related embodiments for use with a portable electronic device. In some embodiments, a snap clip can be integrated with a button bracket to save space where two separate brackets would take up too much space in the portable electronic device. In other embodiments, a tactile switch can be waterproofed by welding a polymeric layer atop a tactile switch assembly. In this way water can be prevented from contacting moisture sensitive components of the tactile switch assembly. The weld joining the polymeric layer to the tactile switch can include at least one gap to trapped gas surrounding the tactile switch assembly to enter and exit during heat excursions caused by various operating and/or assembly operations.

摘要： A power saw tool including a housing, a motor, and a reciprocating shaft. A blade clamp assembly is mounted to the reciprocating shaft and adapted for gripping a saw blade. The blade clamp assembly includes a main body defining a channel for engaging the saw blade. A latch arm is pivotally attached to the main body and rotatable about a pivot axis. A locking catch extends from the latch arm and retains the saw blade within the channel. A latch release extends from the latch arm. An actuator is provided to selectively engage the latch release and permit removal of the saw blade from the blade clamp assembly. The power saw tool may include a speed limiter housed within the handle grip to delimit rearward travel of the trigger switch, thereby restricting the speed of the motor. The power saw tool may also include a rotatable shoe assembly.
