摘要： This application relates to various button related embodiments for use with a portable electronic device. In some embodiments, a snap clip can be integrated with a button bracket to save space where two separate brackets would take up too much space in the portable electronic device. In other embodiments, a tactile switch can be waterproofed by welding a polymeric layer atop a tactile switch assembly. In this way water can be prevented from contacting moisture sensitive components of the tactile switch assembly. The weld joining the polymeric layer to the tactile switch can include at least one gap to trapped gas surrounding the tactile switch assembly to enter and exit during heat excursions caused by various operating and/or assembly operations.

摘要： Circuit interrupting devices, power distribution switchgear assemblies, and pole units for power distribution are provided. A circuit interrupting device includes a solid insulation housing, a disconnect, a window, and an insulating fluid. The solid insulation housing defines a first external opening and a first cavity extending into the solid insulation housing from the first external opening. The disconnect has a moving contact in selective engagement with a stationary contact in the first cavity. The window is secured to the solid insulation housing at the first external opening. The insulating fluid is disposed within the first cavity. The window, the solid insulation housing, or a combination thereof is configured to form a trap region that is in fluid communication with the first cavity and is configured to trap air bubbles in the insulating fluid.

The device includes a wall made of electrically conductive material capable of blocking sun rays. The device also includes a fastening assembly for fastening the wall with respect to the case in a position for blocking, at least partially, sun rays from hitting the case during day time. The fastening assembly has at least one spacer made of insulating material for spacing the wall with respect to the case, thus delimiting an air gap between the wall and the case. The device also includes at least one electrical connector for electrically connecting the wall to circuitry of the switching apparatus, located inside the case, for powering and voltage monitoring.

Each electrical contact assembly is surrounded by the elastic member and the circuit board. An electrically conductive member made of nonmetallic macromolecular conductive material is formed on a bottom of the stem. An electrical contact made of nonmetallic macromolecular conductive material is formed on each electrical contact assembly. A process of manufacturing same is also included.

The grommet is characterized by a resilient outer ring spaced from a center portion by a resilient web with the outer rim engaging the contacts first so that the outer ring slidably engages the spaced contacts as the center portion moves toward engagement with the contact pad, thus providing not only good operator touch to the keyboard but also assuring clear electrical contact by the slidable rubbing action of the outer ring.

摘要： A light emitting keyswitch includes a board, a cap, a lifting mechanism disposed between the board and the cap, a membrane switch including first and second substrates, an LED, and a transparent hollow elastic body. The first substrate has a first outer surface and a first inner surface. The second substrate has a second outer surface and a second inner surface. A switch circuit is disposed between the first and second inner surfaces. A copper circuit is formed on the second inner surface. A hole is formed on the first substrate. The LED is disposed on the second substrate, passes through the hole and is coupled to the copper circuit. The transparent hollow elastic body is attached to the first outer surface for covering the LED and the hole and is located under the cap. When the cap is pressed, the lifting mechanism or the cap triggers the switch circuit.
