摘要： An apparatus comprises a magnetic field detection circuit, a cardiac signal sensing circuit, a memory circuit, a control circuit, and an arrhythmia detection circuit. The cardiac signal sensing circuit generates a cardiac signal representative of cardiac activity of a subject when coupled to sensing electrodes. The control circuit is operatively coupled to the magnetic field detection circuit; the cardiac signal sensing circuit, and the memory circuit. The control circuit stores cardiac signal data determined using the sensed cardiac signal, receives an indication of magnetic field detection by the magnetic field detection circuit, stores data obtained using the sensed cardiac signal during the magnetic field detection, and stores an identifier indicating the magnetic field detection in association with the data. The arrhythmia detection circuit processes the cardiac signal data to detect a cardiac arrhythmia event and confirm the cardiac arrhythmia event according to the magnetic field indication.

摘要： Some embodiments described herein relate to an apparatus, such as an inserter, having a housing and a needle at least partially disposed within the housing. An actuator can be coupled to the needle and configured to move the needle between an actuated configuration and a retracted configuration. A wire can be at least partially disposed within the needle. The wire can be fixedly and immovably coupled to the housing. In some embodiments a biosensor can be disposed within the needle and the apparatus can be configured to deliver or implant the biosensor to a patient, for example, under the patient's skin. The biosensor can constructed of a non-rigid material, such as hydrogel. In some embodiments, the apparatus can be configured to deliver or implant the biosensor without applying a force to the biosensor.

摘要： A kit for intravascular implantation of an implantable medical device (IMD) within a patient includes the IMD, an elongated shaft, and a locking mandrel. The IMD comprises a fixation assembly comprising a loop and the elongated shaft defines at least one longitudinal lumen and a port in fluid communication with the lumen. The shaft is sized to traverse a vasculature of the patient. The port is sized to receive at least a portion of the loop. The locking mandrel is configured to be positioned within the at least one lumen of the shaft and to pass through the loop within the lumen at the port. A reduced profile portion of the shaft defines a reduced profile with respect to at least one other portion of the shaft.

摘要： A delivery and deployment device may include a handle assembly and a shaft extending distally from the handle assembly. A device containment housing may be coupled to a distal region of the shaft and may extend distally therefrom. The distal containment housing may be configured to accommodate at least a portion of the IMD therein. The IMD may, for example, be a leadless pacemaker, a lead, a neurostimulation device, a sensor or any other suitable IMD. A plurality of electrodes may be distributed about an exterior surface of the device containment housing such that at least some of the plurality of electrodes may be positioned to test a potential IMD deployment location before deploying the IMD.

The housing includes a sensor comprising a base attached to a diaphragm wherein said base may be positioned within said cavity. The sensor may be a capacitive pressure sensor. The diaphragm may be connected to the housing to hermetically seal said housing. The sensor may include electrical contacts positioned on the diaphragm. The base may define a capacitive gap and a vent wherein the electrodes may be positioned within said capacitive gap such that at least a portion of the electrical contacts extend through the vent. The implant may include a coil in electric communication with the sensor, said coil may be positioned within said housing. A printed circuit board having at least one component may be attached to the floating base.
