    • A rewritable card printer useful as a rewritable card printer. The rewritable card printer includes a print module coupled to one or more separate card magazines, each having independent card drives. The operation of the print module and one or more card magazines are controlled by a printer controller. Cards may be exchanged between multiple card magazines so that cards can be escrowed, exchanged, or selectively located and retrieved. The print module may receive as well as dispense cards from and to an external card source so that the card magazines may be replenished without opening up a gaming machine hosting the rewritable card printer. The print module may further include a security device reader that is used to read security features embedded in the cards . The security features may be used to track individual card use and to guard against card duplication and fraud.

    • An apparatus for text input and a method for its use. The apparatus includes a display device, a computing device, and an input device. The computer device is configured to generate a character or plurality of characters and to cause the display device to display the character or characters at a desired position on the display device screen. The input device operates to enlarge the character or plurality of characters depending on the position of the input device relative to characters displayed on said display device. The input device is configured to permit a user to select the enlarged character or plurality of characters.

    • A system (10) for automatically reproducing an image (95) on a large suface (90), such as the external wall of a building or a billboard. The system (10) includes a computer (12), a translator program (20), a controller card (30), and an image reproduction machinery (40). The computer (12) is programmed with the translating program (20), which converts a downloaded image file into a data file capable of being used by the controller card (30). The controller card (30) is used to control drivers (32) that control various motors (47, 52, 76) on the image reproduction machinery. The image production machinery (40) comprises a guide rail (42), a carriage (50), and a medium head assembly (60). The guide rail (42) is suspended adjacent to the surface (90) to be painted. During operation, the guide rail (42) moves along one axis of the surface (90) and the carriage (52) moves longitudinally over the guide rail (42). The medium head assembly (60) contains a plurality of airbrushes (66) that are equally spaced apart with their tips aimed at a single point on the surface (90), thereby producing a single pixel of various colors and shades.
