摘要： A teaching aid for teaching young children counting in the tens numbering systems, in which four side by side stacks of nine blocks are each slidable on respective rods held in a frame, each of the nine blocks having one face of each block in the stack imprinted in order with a cardinal number, the blocks in the second, third, and fourth stacks also marked respectively with one, two, and three zeros to the left of the cardinal number appearing thereon. Each of the cardinal numbers on the blocks in each stack are in distinct colors, the zeros color matched to the color of the cardinal number of the corresponding place on the adjacent stack. The blocks in each stack are progressively sized wider to the left in proportion to the number of number and zero digits imprinted thereon.

This watch solves previously unrecognized problems with regard to in-flight timing needs in general aviation. This watch is an electronic watch, specifically designed for pilots to address the plurality of in-flight timing needs, and includes a failsafe method by which to alert the wearer of time reliant in-flight, and post-flight, event occurrences. This watch also provides instant access to Zulu time and all forty-two time zones around the world. This watch is designed to assist the pilot in his awareness of engine run time, fuel tank switching time, final approach fix to missed approach point time, countdown to instrument flight rule and visual flight rule minimums, time to fix, timed turns, holding pattern timing, and time to close flight plan.

摘要： A metering device for seed having a housing (7), a rotary metering member (27) that is rotatably mounted on a shaft 32 in open slots (25, 26) in a pair of side walls (8, 9) of the housing with the axis of rotation of the shaft extending transversely to the side walls. The rotary metering member and shaft are removable from the housing through the slots in a direction extending laterally of the axis of rotation and a closure member (36) is provided which is pivotally connected to the housing so as to extend across and close the ends of the slots (25, 26), thus retaining the rotary metering member (27) in position. Removal of the rotary metering member is therefore simply achieved by releasing the closure member pivotting it away from the housing and withdrawing the metering member and shaft laterally through the now open ends of the slots.
