Method of manufacturing “T” shaped stringers (1) with an angle different from 90° between the web (2) and the foot (3) whereby the “T” shaped stringers have a stringer web and a stringer foot. The method comprises, after placing together two hot-formed “L” shaped semi-stringers to form a “T” shaped stringer, placing the “T” shaped stringer inside an invar alloy angle leaving a gap between the stringer web and the invar alloy angle. Afterwards, a heating device (7) is moved over the stringer feet (3) surface and a roller (8) slides over said stringer feet (3) surface to adapt the geometry of the stringer feet to the geometry of the invar alloy angle. The resulting “T” shaped stringer is co-bonded on a cured skin with an adhesive line between the stringer and the cured skin, and finally the obtained “T” shaped stringer is cured.

The method characterised in that the invar alloy angles are cut at a radius area eliminating a part of the invar alloy angles covering the stringer foot in order to define an invar alloy piece having no foot.

Método de fabricación de larguerillos con forma de "T" para un avión, en el que los larguerillos tienen un almay un pie, comprendiendo el método: una primera etapa de conformar en caliente un laminado de fibra de carbono para conseguir geometría de semi-larguerillos de sección transversal con forma de "L", una segunda etapa de colocar juntos los dos semi-larguerillos con forma de "L" conformados en caliente para formar un larguerillo con forma de "T", una tercera etapa de coencolar el larguerillo con forma de "T" resultante en una superficie curada con una línea adhesiva entre los mismos y una cuarta etapa de curar el larguerillo con forma de "T" obtenido dentro de una bolsa de vacío usando angulares de aleación de invar como herramientas de curado. El método se caracteriza porque los angulares de aleación de invar utilizados se han fabricado sin ninguna ranura en la parte superior para el perfil retenedor.

The main stringers are arranged parallel to one another and interlocked to secondary stringers to provide a grid of four sided cells. Part of the secondary stringers have the same length as one side of a single cell and others are of double that length. The double length secondary stringers are constructed to have a snug snap-lock joint with the main stringers whereas the single length secondary stringers have a snug, non-locking fit between the mid-portions of the double length stringers. A lighting unit occupies a pair of adjacent grid cells and is installable selectively with its length extending either lengthwise or transversely of the main stringers and includes provision for supplying and exhausting ventilating air. The downwardly opening channels of the T-head portions of all stringers serve multiple functions, including an anchorage for various suspended objects, room divider partitions, etc.

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing T-shaped aircraft stringers, in which the T-shape stringers have a web and a flange and wherein the method includes: a first step of hot forming a carbon fiber laminate in order to achieve semi-stringers with a geometry with a L-shaped cross-section, a second step of joining the two L-shaped hot formed semi-stringers in order to form a T-shaped stringer, a third step in which the resulting T-shaped stringer is co-cured on a cured lining with an adhesive line separating said stringer and said lining, and a fourth step of curing the T-shaped stringer produced inside a vacuum bag using invar alloy brackets as curing tools. The method is characterized in that the invar alloy brackets are radial cut, eliminating a portion thereof that covers the stringer flange in order to define an invar alloy part having no flange.
