6 SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TESTING RAILROAD REMOTE RADIO JP2001031082 2001-02-07 JP2001292109A 2001-10-19 WRIGHT CLIVE B; GLISTA HANS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct the test of railroad remote radio used in communication in a train, without recording a bit error caused by radio interference. SOLUTION: A radio interference detection screening system for test on the engine of an engine control unit (LUC) is supplied. For eliminating bit errors in the LCU sensitivity test (known as a bit error rate(BER) test), the system detects a radio communication signal which possibly causes the bit error and interrupts the LCU sensitivity test during the period of detected radio interference. When radio interference is not detected by the system, LCU resumes the LCU sensitivity test.

PURPOSE: To making a connection with a coupling circuit so that a transmission line is connectable at an end of a heat car by passing an input signal without processing unless the 1st signal is inputted, and performing a center function by the 1st signal and passing the signal by the 2nd signal. CONSTITUTION: Head cars 11a and 11 of E composition and F composition are coupled and transmission lines 16 and 15, and 16a, and 15a are connected; and respective optical transmitter center stations 12 and 13, and 12a and 13a have G composition as terminal stations with a by-pass function. In this state, when the train runs as shown by an arrow A, the command device 6 of the head car 11 of E composition is connected to a power source to send the 1st signal of an engine driver board to the optical transmitter center station 12. Consequently, the optical transmitter center station 12 is operated to serve as the center function. Then, the engine driver board sends the 2nd signal to the tail optical transmitter center station 13a to perform a loop-back function. Consequently, transmission lines 10 and 10a which transmit light signals are constituted between the optical transmitter center station 12 with the center function and respective terminal stations 5, 13, 12a, and 13. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy picture transmitting to a train side without performing a precise optical axis adjustment, and accepting an influence of a curvature profile of a platform, etc. SOLUTION: TV cameras 11a-11c are installed in the platform 1 of a station, and the platform 1, and a front part, a central part, and a rear part of a train 2 are photographed. Frequency modulation of the video signals photographed by the TV cameras 11a-11c is carried out, and the signals are synthesized with signals of 3CH and input in an LED driving device 13. On the other hand, the LED driving device 13 is arranged at a head portion of a platform fence 14, and an LED light transmitting device 15 is longitudinally arranged at a side facing the train 2. On an exterior side of a head portion of the train 2, a light receiving part 16 is arranged so as to face a central part of the LED light transmitting device 15 when the train 2 stops at a specified position of the platform 1. An optical signal from the LED light transmitting device 15 is received with the light receiving part 16 and converted to a high frequency signal. The video signals of three channels are demodulated with a demodulation circuit and displayed on a tripatite type LCD monitoring device 18 arranged at a driver's seat of the train 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the driving of a train by installing a train controller deciding a train control command for collectively controlling the whole travel of the train and an organization general control part which individually travel- controls the car organizations in the train in accordance with the constitution state of the train organizations of the train. SOLUTION: A train control system 1-101 is constituted of a train controller 1-02 deciding a train control command and a train organization general control system 1-102 mediating mutual information exchange of the train controller 1-02 and an individual control system 1-03. The train controller 1-02 transfers information on the collective travel control of a train 1-100. The train organization general control system 1-102 is constituted of a train organization general connection device 1-04 and an inter-organization connection device 1-05, and it mutually exchanges information. An individual organization driving device 1-08 controls the travel of a ear organization 1-01 Thus, travel control which precisely corresponds to the constitution state of the ear organization of the train can be executed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal lamp which can be miniaturized without reducing the size of its screen. SOLUTION: This signal lamp includes filter housing parts 24a and 24b on both sides of an electric lamp projecting a light on a screen positioned in a casing. Arms 8a and 8a having filter fastening parts are supported to be freely rotated around rotation axes thereof. In a filter 15, one end parts of a transparent film having flexibility are fastened to the arms 8a and 8a respectively, and the other end parts thereof are housed in the filter housing parts 24a and 24b respectively so as to be freely drawn therefrom. Gears 40a and 40b are fastened to the arms 8a and 8a. A display color switching knob 9 is used when the other end parts of the transparent film in the filter 15 are drawn from the filter housing parts 24a and 24b. A display color switching rack 11 having gear parts 11ga and 11gb located on both the end parts respectively in an axial direction moves with the display color switching knob 9 operated to be moved. The gear parts 11ga and 11gb can be engaged with each other so as not to be synchronized with the gears 40a and 40b. Springs 25 and 25 are provide in such a manner that the arms 8a and 8a cannot be rotated around the rotation axes thereof towartd the filter housing parts 24a and 24b on the opposite side unless the knob 9 is switched in a condition where the both end parts are fastened between the arms 8a, 8a and the casing respectively.
