The moving mechanism 4 is moved forward along the longitudinal direction of the cable 400 while the cable 400 is held. After the moving mechanism 4 is moved, the cable is cut by a cutter.

CONSTITUTION:When a cutting equipment 200 moves above a cable to be removed and reaches a predetermined cable-cutting position by the moving device during cable removing work, a threaded bar of a clamp 210 is rotated by an electric motor 211, and the cable is clamped at a required position. Next, an electric motor 251 of a sawteeth moving mechanism 250 rotates and drives its threaded bar, a sawteeth drive mechanism 230 is driven and the performs reciprocating motion in the direction perpendicular to the axis of cable. And by doing this, the cable is cut at the predetermined position. Then, the cable cutting work can be performed automatically and reliably without mistakenly the cable to be cut, thereby enhancing the cable removing work.

The purpose of this invention is to allow the use of farm or garden type implements to be used without the need for a tractor mounted three point hitch or similar type of lifting apparatus.
