181 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COATING OPERATIONAL SUTURE JP31101897 1997-10-28 JPH10151186A 1998-06-09 LABRECQUE SAMUEL L; AGARWAL VISHVAROOP; POKROPINSKI HENRY JR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for coating operational ligature such as suture. SOLUTION: This method and device involves processes where ligature is continuously kept in contact with the first coating mixture, thereby preparing wetted ligature, and then the wet and coated ligature is removed from the first coating mixture. At the same time, at least a part of an excessive coating mixture on the wet and coated ligature is prevented from coming in contact with the first coating mixture. The first coating mixture is thereby kept at a substantially constant concentration, and then a coated ligature is prepared by drying the wet and coated ligature.

183 SHEATH-CORE TYPE CONJUGATE YARN, COATED YARN AND ITS PRODUCTION JP10536694 1994-05-19 JPH07316926A 1995-12-05 NAKAGAWA JUNYO; KATAYAMA TAKASHI
PURPOSE:To obtain coated yarn having high tenacity, high modulus of elasticity, excellent chemical resistance, heat resistance, etc., and improved touch feeling, comprising an aromatic polyester having melt anisotropy. CONSTITUTION:Sheath-core type conjugate yarn comprising a core component (polymer A) composed of an aromatic polyester having melt anisotropy and a sheath component consisting of a sea component (polymer B) composed of a polyester readily soluble in an alkali or a polyester readily decomposable with an alkali and an island component (polymer C) composed of an aromatic polyester having melt anisotropy is treated with an alkali and the polymer B is dissolved or decomposed and removed to produce coated yarn in which the surface of the core yarn is coated with a fibrous material comprising the aromatic polyester having melt anisotropy and substantially <=0.1 denier.

186 AIR PURIFYING FILTER JP16774189 1989-06-27 JPH0330808A 1991-02-08 KUKUMIYA SHIGENORI; IMAI HIROZO
PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of the strength of a filter body by attaching the fine single fibers to the filter body. CONSTITUTION:A filter body 4 is sprayed with an adhesive 6 from a nozzle 5 to form an adhesive layer on fiber. A high voltage is applied between a container 7 contg. single fiber 2 positively charged and a negative grounding electrode 11, whereby fine fibers 3 are attached to the filter body 4 interposed between the electrodes and treated with the adhesive by electrostatic flocking. In doing so, the dusts having a small particle diameter can be collected and the collecting performance can also be adjusted easily.

198 THREAD GUIDE ELEMENT AND YARN CLEARER FOR A WORKSTATION OF A TEXTILE MACHINE WITH A THREAD GUIDE ELEMENT US17981187 2022-11-04 US20230137833A1 2023-05-04 Charles Leopold Elisabeth Dumoulin; Kalidass Santhoshkumar; Ilir Adili
The present invention relates to a thread guide element for a yarn monitoring and/or yarn processing unit as well as to a yarn clearer for a workstation of a textile machine with at least one thread guide element.
199 Methods for modification of aramid fibers US15752955 2016-08-18 US10738418B2 2020-08-11 Nihal Kanbargi; Alan J. Lesser; Wei Zhao; Sheel P. Agarwal; Mindaugas Rackaitis
Methods are described for treatment of aramid fibers to modify the surface of the fibers. The treated fibers have improved adhesion to elastomer materials as compared to untreated fibers. Modification methods include irradiating the fibers, compressing and straining the fibers under a constant pull force and immersing the fibers in a coupling agent fluid. The treated fibers can be used with elastomers and provide reinforcement elements in products such as tires.
200 COATED CABLE FOR A CONVEYOR SYSTEM US15784368 2017-10-16 US20180044820A1 2018-02-15 Craig L. Witting
An apparatus and method for preparing coated cable for a cable conveyor system. The apparatus includes a stripping die, a swaging die, and a spacing fixture spaced from each other at a predetermined interval that corresponds to the spacing interval between discs in a cable conveyor system. The apparatus facilitates the method of stripping a section of coating from the coated cable, and securing a barrel to the cable over the stripped section. The barrel acts as an attachment point for molded discs carried on the cable.
